Walking Dead - Who's dead?

As TWD returns at the end of the month we (me and DD) have been pondering as to who is dead.

My guess is Glenn - I know that the series makers are not wedded to the comics but I think they will on this point and I feel it has to be Glenn - he saw the pictures of the people who had already been killed by Lucille. He is one of the original cast.

Will be mightily pissed off if we don't know by the end of the first episode who it is. Also although it could be Eugene or Abraham they are not one of the Atlanta ones - I think this would be a cop out.

Your thoughts please

I cried a lot. It was shocking.

I've stayed away from everything though so didn't have a clue.

The cast on Talking Dead are drained!

The spoiling dead group was spot on, even down to daryl being taken hostage.
I thought rick's acting was bloody superb and it was an amazing episode, I'm still shocked by how graphic glenn's death was, how he choked out his final words to maggie Sad damn, well worth the wait!

HardleyWorthit · 24/10/2016 22:35

Oh they're doing the In Memoriam on the Talking Dead. I might cry now..

In memoriam did get a tear from me

FeliciaJollygoodfellow · 24/10/2016 23:25

What did Glenn say?! I must have been sobbing then coz I missed it!

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 24/10/2016 23:30

I'm getting annoyed at everyone going on about corals hair, my DS has hair like that Grin

MiddleClassProblem · 24/10/2016 23:33

Glenn said "I'll find you"

FeliciaJollygoodfellow · 24/10/2016 23:35

Oh. 😢 Poor Glenn.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 25/10/2016 08:53

What did Abrahams signal mean?

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 25/10/2016 11:45

They filmed all of their deaths though?

MiddleClassProblem · 25/10/2016 12:31

Yeah maybe just for the montage but seems they filmed more than just them getting hit

MiddleClassProblem · 25/10/2016 12:32

In hindsight it was not the best idea to make egg sandwiches for lunch today. The hard boiled eggs needed a good thump to crack the shell. Turning them over to check it had cracked resulted flash backs...

TheFabledSnake · 25/10/2016 13:57

MaryPoppins - his peace sign was to Sasha, kind of saying, it's OK. They signed to each other a couple of times before.

Watched over 24 hours ago and I still keep thinking about it. It was very traumatic and well done but after the initial shock i can reflect a bit!

I do think it would have been better for Abe to die in the season finale, then everyone would be Shock, then to have Glenn die in ep 1 after thinking that was it would have been even more Shock! It was just so brutal and graphic but I think it needed to be to convey how it would break rick. And they both died totally true to themselves - "suck my nuts" and Glenn just thinking of Maggie...

And yes Negan does love the sound of his own voice! STFU mate!

Can't wait to see what happens now.

paulapantsdown · 25/10/2016 16:39

I have watched every single episode since day 1, but I am so over it now. As gory as it was, I found last nights episode really boring.
Fight zombies/ survive zombies/meet other humans/ fight other humans/survive fight with other humans/kill a few zombies

Repeat continuously for 6 series.

RedCrab · 25/10/2016 17:21

I've said it a few times before but what season one ended with - the cloffhanger that everyone is infected - was so good, so intriguing and such a good story arc to run with. Then they just never really did anything with it. As Paula said, it's just survive zombies/ survive people. Would be so interesting to start to take the story in the direction of what kicked it off. Because people have been dying for millennia and not turning into zombies. Was it biowarfare? Is there a cure? Etc. I know they had a partial storyline with Eugene but you know...he was lying ShockGrin

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 25/10/2016 17:28

I do wonder how all these people can bother to be alive anymore, I think I would've shot myself long ago... it's just about surviving, with no purpose. I think they do need one... getting Eugene to Washington, going to the CDC, it gave it somewhere to aim along with the gory extras :p

FoxesOnSocks · 25/10/2016 17:50

Im still not entirely sure I've seen it right (im thinking that its two trailers for two totally different things) but ive seen the trsiler three times and it seems as if there's a tiger in this series.

Have I gone mad?

TheFabledSnake · 25/10/2016 17:51

I was thinking the same, would actually rather be dead. I don't think I could stand the drama.

Has anyone played the Telltale games as well?

TheFabledSnake · 25/10/2016 17:52

You're right Foxes! I think it's name is Shiva

RedCrab · 25/10/2016 17:59

Yes that's a new character coming up. He was a zoo keeper and looked after Shiva pre-apocalypse.

What's the TellTale games, Fable?

cardibach · 25/10/2016 18:05

Their purpose is to create a worthwhile society in Alexandria - there was loads about that in Season 6. As for repetitiveness, I think that's a problem with all genres isn't it? Hospital drama - just people get ill/hurt, people get cured/die, Police drama - people commit crimes and get caught/get away. It's the characters that make them interesting, and I think there's plenty of opportunity for development in TWD characters yet.
