All ready for tonight's episode

Hoping Ed stays in this week - gave it a good go and didn't mind the mickey-taking.
And he dealt with Clumsy Len's line about Gen Elections very well.

Melvin. Oh dear.

Finally caught up, phew. I only managed to watch last Saturday's episode yesterday morning, and then yesterday evening's this morning, so I've had to keep off this thread.

The best thing about watching on iPlayer is that I can fastforward all of Darcy's comments. OK, so she gives the occasional good piece of advice, but I just can't stand all that soppy gush. I'm also hating the looks that she gives Craig every time he reveals his mark.

Dance-wise, a lot of the celebrities are still an undifferentiated mass for me - I hardly know any of them, so it'll be a few weeks before I can remember who's who. It seems you all think Melvin's going, and I really can't care because he's one of the ones I can't remember. I don't want Lesley to go. I think she's doing a fabulous job and I hope I've got half that amount of energy when I'm 70. I'd love Ed Balls to go but I'm sure he won't and his dance this week was better in all fairness. But I just don't like the way failing politicians try to re-invent themselves as national treasures. Yuck. I'd also like to see Anastacia stay in because I like Brendan, and Greg because I like Natalie.

I was interpreting Oti and Danny's routine through the lens of a decade spent browsing MN's relationships board NewCross .

I think you're right Hallo, the relationships board would definitely have said LTB and that giving a rose is no guarantee that he has changed his ways.

So we have an hour to go before the results show is on.

Who do we think is a goner (I didn't read the results thread on digital spy!).

I reckon maybe Lesley and Marvin for dance off and Marvin out? He doesn't have a big enough fan base to keep him in and isn't actually very good.

I think ed will be voted through. Think Naga, Ore, Anastacia and Will could be in trouble but the last two have big enough fan base to be ok.

What does everyone else think?

I think Ed and Marvin to dance off, and Marvin to leave.

Ed will leave next week, Naga the week after and then the week after that Lesley will be in her first dance off and will leave.

I think Melvin will be in the bottom 2 and should be the one to go. I can't decide who else though. I suspect Ed might regularly feature in the bottom regardless of how he's danced. I don't think he deserves to be there this week though. Perhaps Anastasia? I'm not sure she danced well enough or has a big enough fan base to pull her through. Lesley Joseph was more memorable and thus perhaps more likely to get votes.

Melvin not Marvin, it didn't feel quite right but I CBA to check it.

I think Lesley, Naga and Anastacia all to go out in first few weeks. Then Greg, Ore, Ed. Then Will and the quite good ones like Laura. Then louise, Daisy and Danny for the final.

How brave of her not to mention the cause of the injury last night, I'm sure if she had done she would've had loads more votes and not be in the bottom two

What will happen if she can't dance off? Will they ask her to forfeit and leave or will it just go to lowest votes and no dance off?

I wonder if she would be able to carry on actually.
