How slow was it?
It was like a particularly clunking training video in parts.

I like the slowness too. I think Stella was slightly less whispery though?

Holly, yes he is a obstetrician but he was definitely in the 2nd episode- he's in the credits as Jim Dornan. It was just a couple of lines and he's not likely to be in it again I reckon.

The dr is Richard Coyle, who's currently in The Collection on Prime. I thought he was Welsh for some reason but it looks like he's from Sheffield. I though his Irish accent was good but I'm not Irish so it might not be

Katie was Lyanna (?) Stark in the most recent series of GoT. I knew I'd seen her in something recently but she has a resemblance to Emilia Clarke too, I think.

As a local, I'd say his accent was... OK ish. But in all honesty I don't think I've ever heard anyone who's not from here do a convincing version of our accent. Apparently it's a very hard accent to replicate though, there was a big write up on the BBC website recently about it.

Interesting article. Although speaking of accents, I think Jamie Dornan's American accent (in FSOG and the fairytale thing) is terrible.

It must be hard as an actor trying to master an accent that doesn't come natural to you and at the same time trying to convey the emotion of the character.

Fastsbender in Hunger nailed it.. But his mum is from Larne so he has an advantage. Mind you, he nails everything that moves. Gorgeous man. I thought Richard Coylewas N Irish when I watched it... He's the image of Rory Mc Ilroy in 20 years time but his vowels were maybe a bit too anglicised at times.Jamie's Norniron accent is fantastic!! His Czech accent in Anthropod is really crap though ... Unintelligible in places.

Accents must be hard, some more than others. I had to stop watching The Peaky Blinders because they were all awful!

Hadn't really thought any of the accents inThe Fall were off, but none of them are mine so that's probably the reason
