The Fall is back on RTE 1 in Sunday at 9.30
Jamie Dornan survives I think.
Looking forward to it.

Will Gillian Anderson still be wearing those lush silk blouses?
Anyone know where they are from?

I think the interview with olivia was showing how history repeats itself. growing up in care without father.

I loved it, enjoyed the slower pace, dialog you could actually understand, the gibson/spector stare off...

I think both ga and jd have acted brilliantly!

Cleebope · 01/11/2016 19:19

But Sapphire they wouldn't give her flowers before a plane journey! They would be totally dead - would they even get through security?? I think she buys her own flowers to ease her loneliness. Also, I was convinced byvthe disassociativeyvthe theory. After his horrible childhood traumas how else could he maintain a sense of superficial normality? And all that dark poetry, drawings, identity changing in his life... it makes sense to me.

HillaryFTW · 01/11/2016 19:25

Belfast to London is less than an hour flight, I don't think they'd be dead.

She likes flowers so bought her own, I think.

HillaryFTW · 01/11/2016 19:26

I am annoyed though that we don't know if he murdered nine other women etc.

I'm off to watch the deleted scenes!

user1475253854 · 01/11/2016 22:51

I also buy my own flowers, is that a weird thing to do?

Cleebope · 02/11/2016 00:04

I don't know you so can't really say. Just discussing a fictional person in a fictional drama. Hilary, flowers from a Belfast location via airport via London taxi.. At least 4/5 hours I would say! Flowers looked too fresh for that. This conversation is pointless. Who even knows??

JedRambosteen · 02/11/2016 00:23

My biggest problem with the doctor is that he's Jeff from Coupling. I kept expecting him to randomly blurt 'BREASTS' while talking to Stella.

Same here - DH loved Coupling back in the day...

Cleebope · 02/11/2016 00:30

Oh my god, THAT'S who he is! Used to really fancy him in Coupliing (still do). Deleted scenes, Hilary? Where?

user1474221222 · 02/11/2016 08:18

On BBC I player. Clock lock on the programme page

SapphireStrange · 02/11/2016 10:20

Clee, I think they'd survive a flight and a taxi ride, yes. I don't know about security.

Or she could have bought her own. I do sometimes. It's not to ease loneliness Grin, it's because I like them.

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/11/2016 14:47

Omfg. Finally watched fri episode

wow at spencer breaking the policemans arm. Made me wince and attacking Stella 😱😱😱😱

Let alone the violence to stop Lawson in the 'clinic'

Worrying that all the men aren't handcuffed or secured in anyway

Basically left free to roam ..... and break out

Don't think we have ever seen Spector violent. He did crimes but we didn't see the sheer violence

Not sure why he killed the man mark Bailey who helped him by causing a riot 🙄

I didn't expect spectre to kill hisself

Not the ending I wanted. I wanted to see him in a secure unit. Bit like Hannibal lol

Will do and read other replies

HillaryFTW · 02/11/2016 18:49

I think it was one last kill. With a side order of Bailey raped and killed a child and PS was protective of children

ohdearme1958 · 02/11/2016 20:39

I'm not reading anything into his hand moving upwards when he was choking. I think it was an automatic reflex and nothing more

ohdearme1958 · 02/11/2016 20:40

I agree wholeheartedly.

tattychicken · 02/11/2016 21:33

But not protective of Katie..who was also a child. I think his definition of a child was quite subjective.

HillaryFTW · 02/11/2016 21:36

Katie was 15 at the start of the series and 16 at the end. A child, but post-pubescent.

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 02/11/2016 22:17

Blondes - Joseph Brawley's death was very violent iir

FoxesOnSocks · 03/11/2016 05:08

I doubt Spector would have seen Kate as a child in need of protection. Whilst she was a vunrable child in reality she was consenting to him. The fact she was just 15 didn't matter to him I'd imagine - not sure where his cut off might be

HollyBollyBooBoo · 03/11/2016 05:29

I was so disappointed by this series, nothing happened until the last episode!

Ledkr · 03/11/2016 12:43

I enjoyed it but it'd us make me wonder why I was still alive after 12 years working in a secure unit like that one. I was so blasé, but looking back that could have happened easily.
I am pleased to now have.a much safer Job Grin

SapphireStrange · 03/11/2016 12:53

Ledkr, did you think the security and protocols in the unit were realistic? Like many people are saying on this thread, I was a bit Hmm that, for example, they had pool cues; Spector was allowed to go around unhandcuffed even after he'd beaten up Stella and Anderson; he was walked through the locker and key area with the director bloke.

Ledkr · 03/11/2016 14:36

Well. I was in medium secure and yes to the pool cues and we were nurses not security guards.
I did some training in broadmoore and it was all orderlys with the nurses out numbered.

Ledkr · 03/11/2016 14:37

I'm not sure what that place wS supposed to be.

brapbrap · 05/11/2016 08:32

Buys her own flowers to ease her loneliness? ! What?! I buy flowers because they look pretty and are lonely to have about the house. What a strange thing to say Confused

SapphireStrange · 05/11/2016 14:03

Thanks Ledkr.

Yes, brap, it's Hmm.
