The Fall is back on RTE 1 in Sunday at 9.30
Jamie Dornan survives I think.
Looking forward to it.

Will Gillian Anderson still be wearing those lush silk blouses?
Anyone know where they are from?

He was shot by a former client of his who thought Paul was having an affair with his wife (they were both clients.. after their son died.. Paul was a bereavement counseller) Paul had helped the woman find safety (a refuge) except later, threatened with his life, he gave the details to the husband of that refuge, and husband ended up going there.

Imagine coming to fully as Rose and knowing your kidnapper was nearby still!

MyCatIsTryingToKillMe · 30/09/2016 12:28

Yes what's the likelihood of them being put in the same place like that.

Lottapianos · 30/09/2016 12:59

'I note they made an effort to get the medical terms very precise and correct '

They did indeed, but it was all very clunky and heavy handed. Like almost everything else in the Fall. Its a deeply weird program. I only watch it for Gillian really, although I thought A&E consultant was quite hot last night and Merlin is seriously hot, very Cumberbatch. And Jamie Dornan, well. Yum.

Oh dear, I seem to be in heat at the moment Confused

"Yes what's the likelihood of them being put in the same place like that."

Well if there is only one ICU & they both need to be on it, I guess it could happen.

notthebees · 30/09/2016 13:05

The nurse looked very like the victim on the online article that his wife was looking at.

notthebees · 30/09/2016 13:05

Why did the nurse not react when he opened his eyes?

MyCatIsTryingToKillMe · 30/09/2016 13:06

But they would have huge separation to ensure no visual or sound contact surely?

Cherrypie32 · 30/09/2016 13:24

I don't think the nurse reacted when he opened his eyes because she was creeped out by him but didn't actually see it happened (we did) just felt something, she had her back to him I think?

Charley50 · 30/09/2016 13:25

Surely a multiple serial killer would be handcuffed, just in case.
It was like Casulty and I'm finding GA's voice very dreary and depressing this time. Why does she always whisper; can't she just fucking talk like a normal person?

And Spector's leaving her laptop where daughter could see the bad news. Duh?!

notthebees · 30/09/2016 13:41

The daughter has aged considerably overnight.

anonymousbird · 30/09/2016 13:42

Laptop "slip" was very staged, agree.

Thanks for clarity on the shooter - we just couldn't remember!

No way would he be unguarded and so tantalisingly close to Rose, however small the ICU is.

Why does Stella "live" in a 5 star hotel?

Navy, that was very creepy, reminded me of the scene where Spector was hiding in Stella's wardrobe while she was in the room!

That is one swanky hotel for a visiting DS Shock. No Premier Inn for Stella!

Yes I wondered whether there was anything significant about the papers that Stella had left out, but there didn't seem to be.

WipsGlitter · 30/09/2016 13:52

I didn't understand the bit about going to get her clothes or when she asked her to get her bags.

I've stayed in that hotel. It is lush.

Lottapianos · 30/09/2016 13:54

Which hotel is it Wips? takes notes in case ever back in Belfast

treaclesoda · 30/09/2016 13:59

I think the wee girl Olivia is a terrible actress, she says everything in that sing song-y Belfast accent that only appears on TV, no one here actually talks like that.

As for doctors not having 'local' accents, those doctors were talking with watered down 'posh' Belfast accents Grin. And some of them didn't sound like any N Ireland accent that I recognise..And it's true that N Ireland isn't very diverse so even in a hospital it wouldn't be surprising for the whole team to be 'local'.

I was itching for more outside shots of the hospital as I was trying to work out where it was filmed. Also, when the police woman pulled up and parked outside the hotel all I could think was 'you can't park there, you'd have a ticket before you get back to the car'. Wink

treaclesoda · 30/09/2016 13:59

It's The Merchant hotel

treaclesoda · 30/09/2016 14:01

And the Premier Inn is just round the corner from that hotel. Maybe in the next episode she'll get a phone call from HR telling her that since she has stayed far longer than anticipated, she should move to the cheaper one Grin

Lottapianos · 30/09/2016 14:09

Grin treacle

I would not complain about being put up in a Premier Inn I have to say. Their beds are lush and they're always spotless. I would probably get better value out of the all you can eat breakfast than Stella would though Wink

Is the swimming pool that Stella uses at the Merchant Hotel?
