The Fall is back on RTE 1 in Sunday at 9.30
Jamie Dornan survives I think.
Looking forward to it.

Will Gillian Anderson still be wearing those lush silk blouses?
Anyone know where they are from?

And now has Stella bought that house in London? It was enormous!

She could have bought it years ago.

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 29/10/2016 09:41

I definitely don't remember anyone confirming Spector had amnesia. The way he pulled out the memory of what happened just after he was shot at the point when he was being interviewed by Stella suggests the contrary.

She could've inherited or had money from her dad's life insurance...

Really enjoyed the last two! Brilliant acting. Only way it could've ended. Shame there was no mention of Sally Ann and there's no way Katy would suddenly be 'fixed' but maybe it's the beginning...

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 29/10/2016 09:58

Even years ago that house would have been a fortune and she would've have inherit a small fortune.

It's just another unbelievable bit in a disappointing series imo.

Mner · 29/10/2016 09:59

Is it noteworthy that Stella said she hadn't been happy since her dad died and put the note from the nurse on the fridge? Is she living in death?

Thank you Smile

I don't think the house is that unbelievable. We know nothing about Stella really other than her dad dying. Maybe it's her mum's house...

FoxesOnSocks · 29/10/2016 10:23

Anyone else picking up that DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen didn't series 3 very much. It's subtle but if you try you might see a hint of displeasure.

FoxesOnSocks · 29/10/2016 10:25

didn't like* series 3

Way to go me for missing out the essential word!!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 29/10/2016 10:25

SorryBlushGrin

I am enjoying other people's opinions though, so carry on and ignore me!

Brontebiscuits · 29/10/2016 10:33

Mner, it could be that yes! I thought it almost seemed a bit like a weird souvenir for her?! It was the nurse that wrote it rather than Spector though?
The docs questioning of her in the hospital seemed to veer between trying to get her grounded and thinking about nicer things (post horrific attack, he mentioned PTSD) with a sprinkling of flirting maybe?

Yes I'm feeling the soupcon of disappointment from DameDiazepam Grin.

Mner · 29/10/2016 10:35

It doesn't matter who wrote the note or who it was for originally, it obviously resonates with her in some way or she wouldn't have kept it

Optimist1 · 29/10/2016 10:42

I'm fixating on those flowers. Dead ones in the vase therefore no-one's been in the house during her absence to clear them away. Live ones on the table but she didn't bring them in with her. The live ones looked more like supermarket ones rather than a florist's delivery. So where did they come from?

Brontebiscuits · 29/10/2016 10:45

True Mner but Stella was unaware it was the nurse, she'll have assumed it was Spector as she saw him throw it away.

As with many series, it starts really well and peters baldwin out.
Series 1 was superb.
Series 2 weaker.
Series 3 actually quite poor. Episode 5 and 6 were atleast better.

But overall, I agree with the guardians comments.

When was the last time you watched something where ..... say S3 was BETTER than S1?

Rrross1ges · 29/10/2016 10:57

And now has Stella bought that house in London? It was enormous!

She'll have made loads of cash in the Mulder and Scully thing Grin

Oblomov16 · 29/10/2016 11:01

Actually I might go back and watch the first series. And remind myself how brilliant it was, how well written it was, how tense it was, how I couldn't wait to see what he would do next, who he would kill and how Gibson would start piecing the things together.

And we all wanted her to come face to face with him in the finale of the first series. But she didn't. I will leave it there, stop watching at that point, might be best.
And then that would be perfection. Maybe?

FoxesOnSocks · 29/10/2016 11:43

Optimist1, the flowers can't say where she bought them but when she comes into the house she's holding them. Maybe she got them in M&S in the airport?!

hollyisalovelyname · 29/10/2016 11:52

You are all so observant. I only noticed the dead flowers on the table Smile
Now how do I get to see a repeat of last night's episode - for DH after last nights failure to record ?
No BBC player in Ireland Sad
Is it repeated any night on RTE or BBC ?
