The Fall is back on RTE 1 in Sunday at 9.30
Jamie Dornan survives I think.
Looking forward to it.

Will Gillian Anderson still be wearing those lush silk blouses?
Anyone know where they are from?

Well.

Just well.

Brontebiscuits · 28/10/2016 22:20

Ohdear that makes sense.
Pike, she just disappeared didn't she? And the little boy.

thedogsvagina · 28/10/2016 22:21

Wasn't there talk of Sally-Ann being charged with attempted murder x 2?
I thought it was sad to the Stag lady reading her daughter the bedtime story but "not the Disney" version....

My love for JD has disappeared.....

Maudlinmaud · 28/10/2016 22:22

Glitter awfully nice.

FoxesOnSocks · 28/10/2016 22:23

It wasn't Stella's fall then. Spector's and Burn's certainly, but not Stella's.

Brontebiscuits · 28/10/2016 22:24

Hmm did she want to save Paul?

Maudlinmaud · 28/10/2016 22:24

Im going to watch some peep show to cheer my self up.

FoxesOnSocks · 28/10/2016 22:24

JD actually didn't look attractive with purple lips did he.

I think he killed Bailey because regardless of all his sexual motivations he just enjoys killing.

Children in foster care so wondering if Sally Ann is detained.

The conversation with Katie was another example of Stella lifting up other women.

I think his suicice was the ultimate "fuck you" to Stella. No chance he lost his memory. The second he said last night "the police have been very clever" put that to bed for me.

The attack on Stella was really shocking, we both gasped!

Despite the lack of action, this thread has really helped me to appreciate the subtleties of this series!

Brontebiscuits · 28/10/2016 22:28

No he didn't Foxes! And a swollen tongue.
He is ruddy magnificent normally though. Go and look up the recent interviews he did with Cillian Murphy on YouTube- JD seems really nice and funny. Very self deprecating.

Maudlinmaud · 28/10/2016 22:29

Never seen Green Wing. I started on peep show last week and have been lolling at the idiots. I think therapy may be needed after tonights episode though.

Charley50 · 28/10/2016 22:30

The whole Burns alcoholism thing didn't really make sense. Totally gripping, disturbing finale though. Hard to watch at times.
Why did Rose Stagg have Olivia though? I suppose she's fostering her. At first I thought it was the creepy nurse.

Ruddy fantastic. Don't think I will sleep tonight. I was convinced he was going to escape. There has to be another series. But only wish they had finished it well for sally Anne

No I don't think she did want to save him, I think she wanted him to live with what he had done.

"he who does not love abides in death"

So a person who doesn't love (that isn't doesn't hate others) remains in death (the idea that we come from death to live), they are alive but are not living. So to hate others means you never live. Spector's actual death removes him from what he deserves which is remaining alive with out actually have a life.

I make LOADS old sense when I'm being philosophical...

SwedishEdith · 28/10/2016 22:36

That was brutal - genuinely shocking. Great acting by everyone.

Is there definitely going to be another series?
What will be the story?
Assume the Jon Lynch character was linked to the child abuse story?
And, please, does Wallander survive?

Rose Stagg didn't have Olivia. That was her own daughter she was reading to?
I'm glad the female defence lawyer pulled out.
I was watching and thinking how come they have snooker cues in a 'high security' unit.
Poor DH, he was out and I recorded it for him but the bo**dy recorder didn't record!!!
He's remarkably sanguine about it.

OP posts:
SwedishEdith · 28/10/2016 22:41

Yes, me too about snooker balls and cues etc. But, I assume they had done actual research.

galaxygirl45 · 28/10/2016 22:41

Such fantastic drama and yet so many unanswered questions - I wonder if there is another series to follow?? Gillian Anderson is sublime, I've never really taken huge notice of her in the other 2 seasons but she was gripping in this one.

Brontebiscuits · 28/10/2016 22:46

Not sure about the snooker thing- I work in an acute mental health unit and we're not allowed snooker table for that reason.

FoxesOnSocks · 28/10/2016 22:49

I'm actually stunned none of you have comment how very wise I am. Grin

Wallenberg survives, he was stable with no life threatening thingies. He'll possibly need therapy though - again how realistic is that that Spector would be allowed wander around after punching a police officer many times in the face (and my god could he punch) and brutally breaking the arm of another officer.

Brontebiscuits · 28/10/2016 22:51

Foxes Wise, you are....
