What was the point of the end? I had wondered whether it was that Stella was on her own in her house and therefore vulnerable in the same way that Paul Spector's victims had been.

Very graphic. Especially his suicide which I found difficult to watch and upsetting.

Well I think it was significant she spoke of her self harming and at the end she had a glass in her hand.

Must say that, acting wise, Dornan was bloody magnificent in that episode.

I thought Stella's conversation with the girl in the YOI was the most interesting bit tonight. She was honest, vulnerable and seemed to be reaching Katie. It hinted at a redemption of sorts.

I think he killed him so he couldn't make any attempt to stop Spector killing himself.

But also because he was punishing him for killing his sister.

I agree, she couldn't save Paul but could "save" Katie.
