The Fall is back on RTE 1 in Sunday at 9.30
Jamie Dornan survives I think.
Looking forward to it.

Will Gillian Anderson still be wearing those lush silk blouses?
Anyone know where they are from?

They've got a lot to fit into the last 2 episodes, haven't they?

Ok.

I can see it on RTE2 at 10pm!

diddl · 24/10/2016 20:57

Just watched ep5 & it said at the end that ep6 is on Fri, Rte2 at 9.

Mner · 24/10/2016 22:59

Late the board but echoing a lot of what has been said. Loved the first series, struggled with this one when it seems to have completely lost touch with reality (ie lack of handcuffs in hospital or police by his bed, using the Rose-a-like lady as his nurse who never slept).

I was fairly hoodwinked into thinking he had lost his memory because there weren't any sneaky glances to the camera but he must be faking it because Rose was before 2006 and if he remembers her, he's no where near as innocent as he makes out. So why is he not just pretending to have "forgotten" everything?

It'll be interesting to see what London throws up.

Stella is fab! I am officially in the fan club.

VashtaNerada · 25/10/2016 06:23

Can I comment on which cast members have said they would or wouldn't do a future series? Or does that count as a spoiler?

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 25/10/2016 10:06

I'm not sure I want a further series. I like the programme, but really they need to bring it to a conclusion.

DesertIslandPenguin · 25/10/2016 13:33

I think they've wasted so much time with this series. I appreciate that they want to show how long an investigation of this type takes and want to (try) to portray a realistic hospital stay but they've taken it much too far. I hope they bring it to a decent conclusion without cramming all the action into the last 5 minutes.

hollyisalovelyname · 25/10/2016 16:57

So RTE 2 on Friday at 9 pm.
How to mix people up RTE- no consistency Smile

If this was to extend into another series I'd think twice about watching. TBH stretching it to three (?) series was a mistake. I've almost forgotten the horror of the crimes PS has committed and am becoming weary of Stella's brooding.

diddl · 25/10/2016 18:00

I enjoyed ep5.

Think that it was the most interesting so far.

Ulysses · 26/10/2016 07:46

Having seen episode 5, there's a lot to fit in that last one and I now think it's inevitable how it will end. I love Stella and would watch her in another series continuing to fight patriarchy. She can bring DS Anderson along for the ride too...

hollyisalovelyname · 26/10/2016 17:56

Ulysses's please tell me what the inevitable is.

It's been well publicised that this is Paul Spector's final series, though it may go on without him. There's no time for it to go to a trial now (the events of series 3 are only over a 2 week period at most) so he can't be incarcerated, therefore, the inevitable ending will be his death and I've a feeling this will be at his own hand. I can't see anyone else important enough to the series to do it otherwise.

alltoomuchrightnow · 26/10/2016 20:06

really hoped they'd go way, way deeper into his background and there'd be a another series. Don't see how can tie up all the loose ends.
Plus as I've mentioned before..the Alice Munro subplot..what happened to that? and Stella's past etc etc.
The first episode of this series was annoying… most of it seemed to be about packing his wound or the nature of his injuries..we know he is injured..that doesn't tell us about his past and how he came to be the person he is

alltoomuchrightnow · 26/10/2016 20:07

my guess..and just a guess..somehow he'll escape..with Kira.. perhaps he ends up back in hospital… they run off together.. and he dies at her hands or at Katies

FoxesOnSocks · 26/10/2016 20:39

He's not coming back??

Didn't know that!!!

hollyisalovelyname · 26/10/2016 20:46

Thank you Ulysseus

RTE DID DECIDE LATE IN THE DAY TO SCREEN LAST EPISODE ON FRIDAY.
A film, Abraham Lincoln, is down for Friday at 9 pm on RTE 2- so it says in the television listings in the Culture section of Sunday Times.
Somebody in RTE must have thought 'Holy S h*t' the last episode is on BBC 2 before us. We better do something'
What happens if your digital recorder is recording it. Will the dr adjust to the new time?

OP posts:
FoxesOnSocks · 26/10/2016 20:52

It should adjust, but as I'm with virgin and it had a mind of itself I best check!!

OlennasWimple · 26/10/2016 20:58

I agree that Spector killing himself is the most likely outcome - probably with Stella trying to resuscitate him but failing.

Ulysses · 27/10/2016 11:26

Oh Foxes I hope that wasn't a huge surprise or disappointment! It's been trailed by BBC2 from the start as "the final chapter between Spector and Gibson" so nothing new.

ohdearme1958 · 27/10/2016 11:37

I'm wondering if Spector and Stella might get into a fight and she kills him to save her life.

Maudlinmaud · 27/10/2016 22:01

Ooooòooooohhh Shock
