I agree GingerAndTheBiscuits, but I'm kind of appalled that this is an aspect of the case that could get him off and that she's still having to defend herself about this sexual fascination for him.

Saying that, you could argue that the dream at the beginning of the show means that on a subconscious level that there is 'something' else there. It's a very sensual scene.

I kind of agree with this and I'm wondering if it was a bit of misdirection. If anything happened to the nurse, in 'real life' that would leave the police wide open to all kinds of accusations for leaving someone who looks like his victims alone with a serial killer. It's a bit predictable too.

Does anyone see any physical similarities between Sally Anne and Stella? Both blonde, both quite aquiline featured. They're both the complete opposite of his victims (although I'm not quite sure where I'm going with this, it just struck me last night watching the episode).

Why did Rose want to tell Stella the details of his kinky desires off record? Was it purely because it was so intimate and personal? Surely if it formed part of the evidence against him it would strengthen the prosecution case and there is no reason for Rose to want to go easy on Spector.

I'm maybe picking this up wrong but she was seeing Spector and her now husband at the same time. Her relationship with her husband is on thin ice it seems, something that went before her kidnap so she doesn't feel able to commit to a full confession yet as it's something that could possibly destroy her marriage.

I wonder if Stella seeing him drop the note and seeing that is says is another confirmation of his deceit. Not by what's on it but by his act of concealing it and throwing it away given that it's got a handwritten message.

A bit strange that she didn't point it out to Dr August whatshisname, but maybe she wanted to find out what it was for herself first.
