Although I'm old enough to remember it first time round, I've just ploughed my way through all five series on sky box sets. I'd forgotten how good it was, I'm looking forward to watching the new series when it starts again in the autumn.

im enjoying it to

ive noticed on a few tv threads some Mn'ers have very high standards when it comes to TV shows and seem to enjoy not enjoying themHmm

SouthWestmom · 05/09/2016 21:56

FFS this is EXACTLY what I would do on my mates wedding day

SouthWestmom · 05/09/2016 21:57

Sally I love not enjoying it Blush

GeneralBobbit · 05/09/2016 21:58

Lovely dress

Spiderpigspiderpig · 05/09/2016 21:59

Why did she tell him then? Ruined his wedding!

ShouldHaveListenedInBiology · 05/09/2016 21:59

Well, it wasn't terrible! Who is Chloe's dad? Not Adam?!

braceybracegirl · 05/09/2016 21:59

I don't have particularly high standards but this is awful. It's an unbelievable storyline and crass script. In fact there's only one storyline really and they are really labouring the point.

ShouldHaveListenedInBiology · 05/09/2016 22:00

WTF was Karen doing though? That was a bit weak, IMO.

Cocolepew · 05/09/2016 22:03

I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Bit far fetched.

AnnieNoMouse · 05/09/2016 22:09

I feel sorry for Matt being dumped in a boarding school while his Dad lives the high life abroad and seems to lack any empathy for his son - which means I dislike Adam as a character.
(And I'd only just forgiven James Nesbitt for those Yellow Pages ads a couple of years ago, when I became enthralled by The Missing.)

southeastdweller · 05/09/2016 22:10

I enjoyed every minute of it. Yes some of it was far-fetched and predictable but I see Cold Feet as pure entertainment.

Squeegle · 05/09/2016 22:11

It was fun. I'm looking forward to next week. It's definitely far fetched but that is ok :-)

AnnieNoMouse · 05/09/2016 22:11

At times it all felt like watching a Tesco ad - even if Fay Ripley shops at Lidl now

leccybill · 05/09/2016 22:11

Was it always so Adam-heavy?

And why so many scenes at Manchester Airport?!

I miss Ramona- she was my favourite.

LunaLovebad · 05/09/2016 22:11

I enjoyed it. But it's completely out of character for Adam to have just upped and left Matthew, he never would have done that. And where the fuck is Josh?

RJnomore1 · 05/09/2016 22:13

Is Adam ill?

SirChenjin · 05/09/2016 22:14

I liked it too - but totally agree, Adam would not have dumped Matthew in some god-awful boarding school to work on the other side of the world, and Joshie is nowhere to be seen.

Adam is so going to end up with the woman from the taxi though.

BennyTheBall · 05/09/2016 22:21

Josh! I knew Karen and David had a son. Why was he not mentioned?

I liked it.

Hermione Thingy hasn't aged a day.

LittleBearPad · 05/09/2016 22:22

Could Josh be at university?

rollonthesummer · 05/09/2016 22:23

Did Adam have a funny turn?!

Want to know where Josh is and who Jenny's daughters father is!

Stillwaitingforthesummer2come · 05/09/2016 22:26

Wedding was near Manchester not Scotland.
So Pete isn't the father to one of his girls- who is? I don't remember that.

southeastdweller · 05/09/2016 22:28

The girls are twins, I think?

Josh is meant to be on a gap year, and Jen's baby's dad was her boss in America.

Lupinlady5 · 05/09/2016 22:30

I thought they all really struggled to get back into character.

It also looked too other-worldly - the whole point of Cold Feet was that the sets etc looked so normal.
