Although I'm old enough to remember it first time round, I've just ploughed my way through all five series on sky box sets. I'd forgotten how good it was, I'm looking forward to watching the new series when it starts again in the autumn.

It's ok to be implausible though isn't it? I must say I have been enjoying it a lot, much much more than expected. I'm glad it's back.

Actually I think TV drama has got so good in the past decade it's not OK. They need to raise their game.

Finding Petes depiction of depression very moving (tho v close to home). Enjoying watching Karen and Matthew , but not so fussed about the others tbh

I'm loving it. It's good to see an entertaining drama about normal lives instead of it having to be with murders and detectives or God forbid - based in 1900's.

Matthew was offered Josh's room to sleep in when staying at Karen's. That was the only time I heard his name mentioned. Presumably away at university or similar, given his age.

That's what I thought Amelia, but still find it strange he's not mentioned in passing.

I did feel it went off the boil a bit this evening - the continual will-they-won't-they of Karen and Eddie was a bit Whitehall farce. But Pete was very realistic and I loved the heart to heart he had with Jenny. Am I imagining it or did David not used to be quite so dim (not seeing the potentially devastating situation he's got himself into)?

No David couldn't possibly have got the career he had if he was always that dim!

Josh mentioned today!

I didn't like it, though Pete continues to be good. David is too dim to be believable, the worldly wise daughters would hardly ask him to stay all oblivious hours after saying mum's boyfriend was fine and as for the Adam-Angela "we love each other loads/oh we never thought about the kid thing till now" - pshaw!

Does anyone know what the song was that was playing at the end when Adam was on the sofa playing the video game with his son? Something about "Home"
