GBBO - Are you ready to bake?
SoupDragon · 07/09/2016 20:04

Straight in with the innuendos "bloomers and baps"

I make chocolate bread for the kids to have toasted for breakfast. It's wonderful with butter and honey.

LemonRedwood · 07/09/2016 20:04

I've come to realise that Paul annoys me. I don't think he's so qualified to judge - his rolls that they sell in supermarkets are horrible and dry and when he did his bread TV series everything he baked was burned.

Is it possible he just got lucky?

StopLaughingDrRoss · 07/09/2016 20:06

I like Rav more and more each week - he just has a great attitude and so smiley Grin

fourquenelles · 07/09/2016 20:06

Middleclass that looks lovely. I am very jealous munching on my peach. I may make a slimming world doughnut later though.

CrotchetQuaverMinim · 07/09/2016 20:07

Nanny Cobbles. Of course.

StopLaughingDrRoss · 07/09/2016 20:07

Oooh Middle - that looks sooo nice and crunchy and gooey and.. I want some!!!

MiddleClassProblem · 07/09/2016 20:07

Slimming world doughnut sounds like more of a win!

ClaraLane · 07/09/2016 20:08

God I always forget how smug Paul is this week. I want to slap his smug face!

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 07/09/2016 20:08

Hi all, slightly late as it's DHs 45th and we just polished off some lovely steak + chocolate/buttercream cake.
Agree about Rav!

LemonRedwood · 07/09/2016 20:08

DH just yelled, "Fuck off, Kate!" at the tv.

I feel he may be over-invested Grin

GrouchyKiwi · 07/09/2016 20:08

I love bread week.

And I like Hollywood's bread recipes. They're delicious when I make them.

I'm not sure about chocolate breads in 2 1/2 hours, though.

GrouchyKiwi · 07/09/2016 20:10

We are on holiday and my internet is laggy as hell. None of my comments are going to make sense.

Hellooo Selasi. He's looking good this week.

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 07/09/2016 20:10

Has a man ever won?
First year I watched was when Francis won.

fourquenelles · 07/09/2016 20:11

You are coming through loud and clear atm Grouchy no worries

TheSpottedZebra · 07/09/2016 20:11

I'm very menstrual, and bread is my favourite thing. And chocolate.
God I want to eat the computer right now.

SoupDragon · 07/09/2016 20:12

Small under filled ball.

Snurk.

ClaraLane · 07/09/2016 20:12

Loving the looks of Candice, Kate and Jane's loaves.

LemonRedwood · 07/09/2016 20:12

Edd Kimber won the 1st series and John Whaite won series 3(? I think)

GrouchyKiwi · 07/09/2016 20:12

First winner was Edd Kimber. Third winner was John Waite.

MiddleClassProblem · 07/09/2016 20:12

Loads of men have won, no?

TheSpottedZebra · 07/09/2016 20:12

I obvs meant I'd eat the telly.
But I do have extreme munchies, so...

MiddleClassProblem · 07/09/2016 20:12

Lol ok maybe not loads but only on 7 series

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 07/09/2016 20:13

Men have won.
Frances was last year?

John Whaite, Ed Kimber too I think.

GrouchyKiwi · 07/09/2016 20:13

Spotted Grin Chocolate is medicine.

fourq Naturally, after I wrote that, the internet started behaving.
