Boring title; hope the tennis is better!

I am currently ignoring dh, whilst he watches the football.

It is very dull compared to the tennis.

Brilliant news about Heather (I missed the end).It has been a strange tournament, with the weather, big names going out early, or missing.

I loved seeing Delpo back in action, however briefly. I missed Nadal (though it's probably better for my nerves he wasn't there). I am sad I didn't see Ferrer play, and (controversial) - I would have loved to see Tsonga win the match with Murray. But since he didn't, the better man won on the day. And Milos didn't disgrace himself, or his lovely family.

I am disappointed Muguruza didn't do better. But all credit to Serena- it obviously meant just as much this time, as the first time.

It's going to be rubbish tomorrow. 'Doctors' isn't even back until September.

No Mac on the highlights show, just Tim and Pat.

Watched the 'Stand Up For Cancer' 'Andy Murray the movie' (with Richard Ayaode, from the IT Crowd, and Andy casting 'Andy' for a film of his life).

Back again, just to comment on Ana Ivanisevic's wedding. I've never been much of a fan, she can be a diva, and hasn't done as well as early promise showed.

But she made a beautiful bride.(twice).

I've just been looking at the wedding pictures actually. She looked absolutely stunning, didn't she? What a handsome couple, and they looked so happy.

Haven't seen any tennis since Sunday, but at least I've had the Tour de France to distract me

I am very nosy, and live close to what is Manchester United players territory. I know her new husband didn't think much of Manchester. I keep hoping I will bump into her in John Lewis (very popular with WAGS, or it was when I worked there).

I met a lot of footballers over the years in various jobs. Especially at the airport.

Not so many tennis players.

Congrats GB on winning in Serbia - especially to Kyle. He played a blinder and held his nerve when he had to at the end.

Kyle did indeed play a blinder. Well done to him & the GB team. The end of that third set was not at all easy, especially with all that noise from the opposition. There was some noise interruption a few times as he was preparing to serve, which was very bad form.

And a million kudos for Andy going out there to support them, very noble of him.

Shame about wardy, I think he has real talent, but he doesn't always show it.

I recently read (can't remember where) that 'personal reasons' for withdrawing from a tournament were cited immediately after a tabloid published pics of him leaving a nightclub with a Bollywood actress. Maybe a split is connected to that?
