Delighted for Venus and enjoyed the Halep and Kerber match, but goodness me, did any of them actually manage to hold serve? Angie will need to drastically improve that before facing Venus!

Sorry that Dominika hasn't managed to make a mark in this March, I would have loved to see her through to the semis. She must be shattered after her mammoth win yesterday.

Wasn't it Kyrgios who was fined last year? He definitely tanked hus match against Gasquet. What a waste of his talent. Surely someone around him is trying to talk sense into him? He's 21 now, not 18 or 19, and I think people are running out of excuses for him. Mac was disgusted with him yesterday and I'm sure he's tried to give him the benefit of the doubt before.

I would love to see Raonic v Tsonga. Raonic because he's Canadian (sorry) and Tsonga because I have always had a soft spot for him. Failing Raonic I could get interested in a Federer/Murray final.

Can't comment on the ladies because I don't follow it much. The Serena domination is just too much for me.

I want it to be Raonic's year. I have no problem with Fed getting another slam- rather him than Djok.

I'd take a Raonic/Tsonga final though, and be happy with the result. Or Fed can get his 18th, go for Olympic gold, then retire.

Roger and Venus are my ideal champions. In reality, probably Roger or Andy and Serena or Angie Kerber, if she gets her serve going and Serena loses her nerve in the final.

Serena was fined too, but less than Watson (who got the second highest fine in Wimbers history ) and Troicki was also fined for his epic meltdown - but again, less than Heather

I was last year when an umpire asked him to hurry up as he faffed around during change of ends. Paraphrasing, but his response was a very sarky 'you let Rafa do what he wants, you can wait for me to change my socks'. Can't believe he wasn't penalised for his rudeness. I've thought he was an out and out tosser ever since.

Such a waste of a mercurial talent.

I can't believe I'm going to miss most of the Federer match. I'm a supply teacher and have to meet the head at a school that might need me for September. I hate it when RL clashes with Wimbledon.

Hello! I too was sitting like Norma No Mates on the last thread till I noticed it was full!
DH and I were saying Krygios needs a Lendl type coach to whip him into shape. He could be amazing but needs to sort his head out or he will end up as just a waste of obviously natural talent. Such a shame but I bet Andy was pleased to get it over and done with.
I'm an Andy fan (I'm Scottish, can't help it) but I also really like Tsonga both as a player and as a character so I'm looking forward to seeing them play each other.
I'd love Andy to win overall but a little bit of me would like RF to get his title as I'm not sure how many more years we will see him, and he's a true gent.
Would love Venus or Kerber to win, tho Serena is looking more and more determined with each round.
