(After our antenatal thread became somewhat hijacked with talk of Doctor Who)

Hello,

My name's (usually) MsMoss and I've been a Doctor Who Geek for over twenty years now. I grew up with McCoy, stood by it through its years in the wilderness and now watch, proud but slightly bemused, as it is no longer shameful to admit you're a fan.

Anyone else with me? You love the new series but don't want the old to be forgotten?

Join me, stand up and be counted!

Terrible isn't it, like guessing birthday presents! You want to know... but at the same time you don't!

nikkie · 24/03/2007 19:43

Now I didn't say too much just more!
Blue Peter on Tuesday, Richard and Judy onThursday, Charlotte Church on Friday.DT seems to be doing all radio.

I read the Dr Who weakest link was going to be on Sat but its not on Sky Guide

nikkie · 24/03/2007 19:59

Mossie · 24/03/2007 21:30

nikkie · 24/03/2007 21:40

nikkie · 24/03/2007 22:49

Also new prog on after Dr Who on Sat presented by ..................................................,drum roll..........................................John Barrowman

nikkie · 24/03/2007 22:52

Mossie -will you still be around on Sat?or will you be fighting your way out of hospital so you can watch it?

Mossie · 25/03/2007 14:37

I've a feeling I'll still be around, waiting. I'm 40 weeks on Tuesday and still haven't felt so much as a twinge!

Roll on Doctor Who with extra JB I say!

nikkie · 25/03/2007 19:31

Have they mentioned inducing? You'll have to time it round JBs schedule

nikkie · 25/03/2007 19:56

Just found this too!
David Tennant will be appearing in the last episode of the current series of Dead Ringers on BBC2.

He will not be in it as the Doctor but will be doing 'an impression', say sources.

The show - well-known for Jon Culshaw's take on Tom Baker's Doctor, plus its Doctor Who and Torchwood skits - will go out on Thursday, March 29 at 9.30pm.

UnquietDad · 25/03/2007 22:17

All the preview stuff from GMTV compiled here. Short clips from episode 1, and some hints about future episodes, so don't look if you don't want to know!

nikkie · 25/03/2007 22:21

Thanks UQD!

UnquietDad · 25/03/2007 22:38

Pleasure to share... I don't know who put it all together on that Freema site, but the coverage seems to shame the BBC's at the moment! That's a lot of previews for a rival channel...

Mossie · 25/03/2007 23:59

Ooh thanks UnquietDad, you're right it does seem a little odd for ITV to be banging the drum for Doctor Who so loudly!

Lol Nikkie, don't mention the "i" word ! However I have had stern words with Bertie and explained JB's schedule to him in no uncertain terms; he knows when he can and can't come out I think!

nikkie · 26/03/2007 19:16

doesn't leave you a lot of time in between JBs slots though

nikkie · 27/03/2007 17:56

Just realised Friend is having a party on Sat doesn't she realise what day it is !

nikkie · 27/03/2007 19:33

this cracked me up

UnquietDad · 27/03/2007 22:56

Don't forget you have to be logged into OG to read it! Which I think means just you and me!!

nikkie · 28/03/2007 10:21

I forgot that!
Well did youlike it ?

SueBaroo · 28/03/2007 10:33

OK, how have I missed this then?

I'm another covert OG operative, mowahahahaha. I'm trying not to be spoilerified, but it's proving largely impossible...

UnquietDad · 28/03/2007 16:20

It was quite funny, nikkie, but got a bit rambling! I kind of lost it. Sorry but I was v. tired when I looked.

Sue - I like "operative"! That's good!

I like looking for the "daftest OG thread of the week". Sometimes it can rival this place for surrealism. At the moment I think the winner is "Ebay think Windy Miller is a woman."

SueBaroo · 28/03/2007 16:52

I rather enjoy the po-faced 'RTD is the devil' threads myself.
And the spoiler section was very funny in recent weeks, with people posting wild fantasies about what they'd like to see, and people getting cheesed off about it.

I think it's ok to post speculation in the spoiler section if it's got a good chance of being right - but stuff like 'Pat Troughton next doctor through the magic of CGI' is just silly... (that one was made up btw )

Mossie · 28/03/2007 20:08

Nikkie you know I don't have an attention span at the moment will have a read through later.

Actually, until I saw your link I hadn't been on OG since I started mat leave! I used to use it for work avoidance!

Hello SueBaroo not seen you on here before there are more of us than you think!

Fubsychicksnbunnies · 28/03/2007 21:09

Just been reading the new radio times - John Simm in the last two episides!
