Hello,

My name's (usually) MsMoss and I've been a Doctor Who Geek for over twenty years now. I grew up with McCoy, stood by it through its years in the wilderness and now watch, proud but slightly bemused, as it is no longer shameful to admit you're a fan.

Anyone else with me? You love the new series but don't want the old to be forgotten?

Just read a great thread on OG about favourite quotes whats yours? I have to say a good chunk of Girl in the fire place made me LOL!

Also just read that there is going to be a MIckey figure!

The Doctor's "have I the right?" speech from Genesis of the Daleks, and its counterpart, Davros' "Yes - I would do it. That power would set me up above the gods" speech.

Ooh I'll have to have a think now Nikkie! That'll kill a few moments while I'm counting down the hours until I go on maternity leave! (Currently 65 working hours if you include dinnertime which in this place I pretty much have to!)

You know you can watch whole eps. on YouTube these days? DS and DD and I have been watching "Terminus".

Well in the end, I went out because everyone in the office was annoying the hell out of me.

Because I'm leaving in a week and half a day they expect me to do all the crappy stuff, so I decided to spend my dinner sat in a café with a cup cake, coffee and a book to get away from their demands.

Actually it was great, like being a student again! I can't remember the last time I took a full hour (actually I can, it was about two years ago)!

Anyway rambling and ranting aside I didn't know that actually UnquietDad, it's another consideration for my impending maternity leave!

Well I got into work before everyone else this morning and thought I'd watch it then.... and for some reason Youtube isn't working!

Oh well this is my last ever Thursday in this godawful place; there'll be plenty of time when I'm off on maternity leave!

Hello sorry to butt in so smugly with this but.... We saw them filming earlier this week. One of the perks of living in Cardiff. My five year old and his friend stood there staring, absolutely enthralled. Dr Who waved at them. Captain Jack smiled at them. They were soooo chuffed. Proper, wide eyed, mouth open, chuffed. (Made my day too, phwoar.)

Actually what I was really impressed with was how friendly they all were - which I think is a real credit to them. The children were allowed to have their photo taken next to the tardis and there was a woman handing out postcards. They must get stared at all the time, and they hadn't closed the road - they just had to work around the passing traffic. I just thought it was nice that the whole crew were so friendly.

Oh that's lovely! Am very too though.

Where in Cardiff do you live btw, dh's brother and his dw life in Llandaff?

at Peaches, have heard before how nice the crew, DT/JB are to meet.Will have to get dd1 to writ to them!

MOssy-dd2 is 5 1/2.

Some more DVDs arived today (didn't realise I ordered so many ) Hand of fear, Dr Who the movie (thats 2 whole Drs covered now!) and Torchwood 1:2
