Mmm 😋

Thanks pixie Not just knees, but thighs as well!!

hudyerwheesht · 18/05/2016 16:04

Love that clip. There's a bit of thigh on show on the other deleted scene too, if you look closely like I did, twice

snozzlemaid · 18/05/2016 16:05

Lovely pixie, thank you.
Knees and yes plenty of thigh too.

hudyerwheesht · 18/05/2016 16:10

You guys have to get on YouTube, there's loads of cut scenes.

The kilt-putting-on was the first one I found when I was watching s1 and I just thought 'why, why did you cut that out?!' I've been watching the bonus stuff on the box set and the director introduces each one and most of the time they were cut for time saving purposes but there's no excuse for not including that imo.

I've also come to realise DG has the most annoyingly grating voice, on a side note.

TheHiphopopotamus · 18/05/2016 16:16

Wasn't DG in one of the scenes at Castle Leoch? She was at the Gathering and Aunt Babe (sorry, can't remember her character name) said something about her dress.

After reading that article yesterday, I think she's having trouble letting her books go, but I think the less interference from her the better tbh.

snozzlemaid · 18/05/2016 16:17

I might have watched one or two loads of videos on YouTube.
I can lose hours on there.

hudyerwheesht · 18/05/2016 16:48

Yes she was hipho, I'm sure she was a guest at the gathering.

And I agree, left to her we'd have healing magic cave pools and the Loch Ness monster - and those are just the ones i know about.

hudyerwheesht · 18/05/2016 16:50

Oh and it's Mrs Fitzgibbons, seems like a lovely lady irl but owner of the worst Scottish accent of the whole cast. (Imo)

TheHiphopopotamus · 18/05/2016 16:58

Haha, that's it, Mrs Fitz! I liked her character as well.

possible spoiler

Apparently the actress who plays Laoghaire was spotted on set, filming for S2. As her character is not in DIA, I wonder if this could be something to do with DG's little paddy?

Drywhitethanks · 18/05/2016 17:03

Oh bloody hell not her again !!!

Wasn't the kilt scene on the opening credits of an episode in season 1? Love that one. I agree YouTube is a massive time drain

I recall seeing him wrap himself up in the kilt, but I would definitely have remembered the thighs 😛

PlymouthMaid1 · 18/05/2016 17:55

hudyerwheesht · 18/05/2016 19:54

I was thinking that about it being in an opening credit for s1, drywhite, albeit not in its entirety, ie, mostly sans thighs (sadly)

hudyerwheesht · 18/05/2016 20:41

Was getting extremely excited until I realised neither SH or CB would be there.

AKAmyself · 18/05/2016 20:53

It was in the opening credits for episode 9, "the reckoning"

not that I've watched it a million times or anything

Drywhitethanks · 18/05/2016 20:58

I'm late to the thread but have been a fan of the series for years

anyone else name their child after JAMMF? No? Just me?

Very much enjoying it and glad there are likeminded souls out there, To share the enthusiasm about knees with.

Am a bit miffed Jamie didn't cut his hair for the duel like he did in he books. Was looking forward to a shorthaired version. Disappointing!

Drywhitethanks · 19/05/2016 07:45

Sorry Wild we take Jamie's hair very seriously here......cut his hair Shock noooooooooo ...... Why did he do that?
Welcome btw Smile

Hello Wildfire
How many names did you give your ds? All of them? I probably would do something similar, but my dcs are teens and I'm definitely not having any more.
I Hadn't thought about the hair cut. But that woukd have been interesting to see. I quite like his hair when it's shorter at the beginning of series one.
I've just started reading Voyager and was wondering what he'll look like with a month's beard growth. Not sure if I'll like that so much.

WiIdfire · 19/05/2016 08:30

He cut his hair so it wouldn't get in his eyes and distract him, like it did in a previous fight (I think the one where he got an axe in the head -not really a spoiler as it happened before the story starts and hasn't been mentioned in the tv series)

I couldn't call my boy James as I have an ex James so that would just be weird, so he's Alexander. 😉 Not sure my husband knows where I got the name inspiration from.
