When is it on? Have googled and says tomorrow (10th) but what time? not that I'm desperate or anything

Oh my. A crossover between the two would be something else. Can you imagine Ross and Jamie in a room together. I wouldn't know where to look.
I described Outlander as 'a Scottish Poldark' to a friend, who I'm going to lend the books to.

That's exactly what I said. And someone replied "I bloody would!" Grin

I agree about the suspiciously tanned tone of Jamie's skin (not that I studied at any length, oh no) - I always thought it was the glow of the candles/fire.
But I feel duty-bound to give it another look in order to give an informed opinion.

I agree that there is less action but also got a bit annoyed at the repetition of the actual storyline, ie, who BJR has captured today.

One thing that occurred to me - did they sort out their argument that had them in separate rooms? It seemed as thought weeks passed - surely they would have talked about it and had it resolved before the actual good news that put J in a better mood and C back in his good books.

Hmm I'm still trying to decide who I'd back in a sword fight between Jamie and Jon Snow. Reckon Jamie has the height advantage but JS has Valarian steel sword, is deft of foot and has a dire wolf, then again Jamie has Tupert, Angus and Murtagh as wing men, Sam T not known for his fighting skills is he although he did kill a white walker

So, not that i've given it any in-depth thought, at all, of course, but...

I think Ross and Jamie would NOT get on. There'd be too much testosterone, competition and general parading of pecs. A topless scything contest will naturally have to be called in order to determine who's the manliest of the lot, and omg can you imagine just how much time they'd both be spending in the bathroom doing their hair in the morning. Much riding along impossibly beautiful scenery while brooding about the injustice of the world would ensue, and you literally couldn't move for red coats trying to arrest them. Exhausting.

OTOH, I am going to have to disagree with Drywhite: I think Demelza and Claire would totally girl crush on each other... Once Demelza gets over her natural distrust at Claire's posh accent and manners.

Right. I'm going to go look for cross-over fan fiction right this minute!

Now, I've discovered something about season 2.....if you watch all 3 episodes in a row it's actually much better. There is still some humour and at least they kiss a tiny bit. I'm sure it will get better.

just how much time would they spend in the bathroom doing their hair Grin classic.........

I love Demelza. I think in another life, her and Jamie would've made an excellent couple.

In fact, maybe Claire and Poldark should've gotten together. She wouldn't have taken any of that crap from Elizabeth.

Totally agree with whoever said that binge-watching improves the experience - isn't it generally the case in life? :D
