That knitted shawl that Claire is wearing in the photo on that link is one of the £140 ones I saw at Doune Castle.

Which is annoying because I really wanted it. Anyone care to knit me one? I'll give you a tenner for it?

Am thinking that Jamie and Claire should visit Ross and Demelza, they're around at about the same time, how. Cool would that be? maybe a quick stop off on their way home from France, sure Prudie could rustle up something edible or not

I like this shawl, and it looks pretty easy to make. Perfect for shuffling around my cold house.

I don't much the big bulky cowl, I have the wrong stumpy figure to carry off chunky knitwear

Think only K Balfe, with her model proportions, can pull that chunky knitwear anything really off, sadly

The shawl/cowl thing was the softest wool ever - maybe that was the reason for the price. I still want one, and the wrist warmers. Wish I could knit.

I don't think Jamie's hair is frizzy, it looked kind of lank. It's more in need of a good cut especially in the fringe area.

So, after a few And after seeing SH leading the tartan parade in NY I have revised my kilt wearing preferences. Have always been a traditionalist non Scot so excuse my naff terminology Aran (?) socks, black shoes, waistcoat or black jacket.........I'm now thinking knee boots/leather jacket/scarf combo is much better on SH, possibly not on the Scotsmen I know
