Am so excited this is back. Loved it so much last time I came very close to applying for this series but bottled it. Wish I had now, oh well.

So happy for Tilly!

Yes. I mentioned to DH that it's odd the helicopter had such a big beach to land on and why they were going back via those dreaded rocks again!

The sexism on this is APPALLING.

WellErrr · 26/04/2016 15:13

But st least they've finally stumbled upon the planted food 😂😂

CurbsideProphet · 26/04/2016 21:39

Just caught up. The casual sexism displayed by the men is shocking.

The helicopter shots were v suspect. How did they get Paddy onto that bigger beach to allow the helicopter to land.....

Does anyone know how many episodes are left?

NotJanine · 27/04/2016 09:23

I haven't seen the previous series - were they better at finding food?

I really don't understand why the men were so against a group of women going off hunting, and thinking that a group of 3 men was plenty. I would have thought you'd have small groups on a rota going looking for food all through the day. I know it is heavily edited but it didn't look too challenging for them to find the sugar and whatever that veg was that they dug up. How has it taken them weeks to find it?

Very funny that Tilly was the one to catch and kill the turkey whilst the bossy doc was hacking at his leg with a machete.

Has anyone been watching the usa series? (On 4od) I can't get enough!

NewBallsPlease00 · 29/04/2016 06:42

The hello other didn't land- it's a sea rescue which hovers abd they will winch you out

chocomochi · 02/05/2016 21:44

It's on tonight! Just switched over to channel 4 and catching the last 15 mins now.

CurbsideProphet · 02/05/2016 22:30

Well they all had a last hurrah with a last supper of cayman (unsure of spelling, I have never typed it before!) and ended on a high. I must confess to looking away for most of Cayman Capture, as crocodiles give me the jeebies...

LikeTheShoes I'm glad you recommend the US version, as my DP is keen to watch it!

Hassled · 02/05/2016 22:34

I don't know if I just wasn't oaying enough attention, but there were so many people at the end where I was just thinking "who the fuck are you?". They did seem to focus more on certain individuals.

But as a concept, as a show, I absolutely love it. Could watch it all year.

NotJanine · 04/05/2016 08:59

They did seem to focus on just a few of the people, I got quite confused with the men as other than the doctor and the larger chap (who didn't feature much) the rest merged into one.

It was quite a heart-warming ending and I liked the overall idea that kindness was important.

There was an extra programme on last night reviewing the series, I saw a bit of it but have recorded it. It was odd to see them all cleaned up and the women wearing make up. Most shocking thing I heard was that the big chap only had 1 poo in the whole month!! Shock

catkirk · 09/05/2016 21:42

American series is unwatchable! They're always shouting about what proud patriots they are, then one of them goes off on the others with a knife. It's a bit TOO reality tv.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 09/05/2016 21:46

I need to find the us version!

CurbsideProphet · 09/05/2016 21:57

The US version is available on 4 on demand Smile
We watched it and found it very different (but still enjoyed it!). There were no tropical storms, so it was roasting hot from 9am. I did like the fact that it said on the screen what day it was. I get confused in the UK version, as I have no concept of how long they've been there and suddenly it is over!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 09/05/2016 22:01

brilliant, thats tomorrow nights telly sorted!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 09/05/2016 23:47

I've just caught up with series one and two on demand. Series two was so bad that the women nearly had to be taken back to the mainland as they were so severly dehydrated!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 10/05/2016 21:12

I think I will need to watch it on my ipad as stupid virgin don't seem to have it anywhere :(
