Am so excited this is back. Loved it so much last time I came very close to applying for this series but bottled it. Wish I had now, oh well.

I only caught up with this last night - was action-packed! Although the editing obviously makes it appear more so

I reckon the programme makers planted that fishing net on the beach for them, it was rather convenient. They may have even left the shark for them? I also think there is a lot more communication between island and support than we see. I am surprised that they are as civil with each other as they are, considering how weak and hungry they must be.

With their lumpy skin, I just think of how itchy they must be.

Is anyone watching now? They've just said this episode contains the slaughter of an animal so I assume they're finally getting some food?

It's annoying me tonight! Stupid idiots on the rocks you know something bad is going to happen just like when they went to far out in the sea.

I don't get why they're not going through the centre of the island rather than round the cliffs?

they must be some way away from the nearest hospital.
in the beginning they showed that the inner island is a mix of rock and bog and dense undergrowths, so no easy to get through.

They must be close to the island where then producers/Bear/the rescue boat are as the boat can get there quickly when summonsed. Not sure what medical people /facilities there are there.

I wonder whether they have to radio everything they do to the producers, so they can be on standby in case anything happens? Glad the rescue boat and helicopter got there so quickly and before the tide really came in.

I had been watching and then right at the end someone distrated me and so I didn't actually see the fall and the immediate reaction.

I watched this last night and was very tense as they walked across the rocks, knowing that there was going to be a fall. Poor Paddy, I really hope he is ok and after he was having such an awful problem with his bowels and bleeding - sounded horrific.

I think that Erica is so used to being a tough, capable woman that she is struggling with being weak and vulnerable.

I do think that they are all doing amazingly well really.

Do you think they have a regular visit from the support crew to check them out ? They must be going to the island to charge/replace their cameras surely?

I wouldn't think so, that's why they have 2 drs on the island+satelite phone for emergencies.

for the cameras I imagine hunger games style how apt drop off's/pick ups
