Am so excited this is back. Loved it so much last time I came very close to applying for this series but bottled it. Wish I had now, oh well.

Im not sure about Dr Alice. Suggesting they drink more putrid water after vomiting and suggesting pain killers for phantom limb pain.

Aww, poor Hannah.

I've realised Dr Alice used to work at the hospital where I work. She was a junior Dr, an orthopaedic SHO. Only a couple of years out of med school. I'm not sure if the tv company send the Drs on any sort of tropical diseases diploma prior to going.....probably not.

Terrible for Hannah, she was so strong, I really feel for her.

Alice is only 26, hopefully this experience will give a whole load of life experience to add to her training.

I'm watching the second episode now,

Erika is fantastic and completely right to essentially say that the men will shit on their experience. Simon seems to have forgotten the men's inability to make a fire/shelter and find a good base in 5 ish days. The women had that all sorted within 24hours.

I feel so angry for Hannah, that she was put in a situation which could predictably setback her recvery , in the name of entertainment.Poor girl, shame on you C4!

I'm guessing she knew it might be a possibility, the storms etc.

I really admired her bravery

Gone off this now it's trying to be turned into a date show
Bloke meets doctor, doctor simpers.
Bloke spends hours making an A frame for 1 bed which is quite obviously crap- Erica didn't piss about, just cracked on and made a nice divan. But oh no, the 'girls' needed the men to turn up to tell them their camp was shit! The women had a fire going within hours, took the "men" how long? But still they are the saviours!
And WHY is every interview with the women filmed down a bikini, I thought they'd taken their own camera ops, were they briefed to make sure they got swim suit shots? With all those Mosquitos I'd be living in my wet gear or the sea.

And as for sleeping on that row of logs covered by fronds? Surrounded by fourteen strangers, bollocks I'd take my wet kit and find a nice hole in the sand.

Yes the simpering from the Doc was a bit much. Do you cook for DP's

The bed bloke just looked ridiculous and him shouting about catching a fish was needlessly aggressive and trying to put Erika down because she didn't toe the line with the menz.

I love erika. Don't like the bed bloke over the 'banter' of not bonking her when she made a joke about her bouncy bed.

The only good thing to happen about them meeting up is that they stopped them drinking that water!

Now hannahs gone the bed bloke is going to become unbearably bossy.

Yes lumpy and when erika went with them to get water all they did was moan and say they were going to have to help her... And it was fizz that struggled!

I was shocked at the attitude towards women that the men displayed.

And some of the women fawning over the men didn't help .

I feel so bad for Hannah! She's going to be absolutely gutted. And that Simon he is so unbelievably arrogant and sexist! "The woman are just going to sit their and expect their food brought to them" oh really?? I wonder how they have managed for the past 5 days then mate, oh and I'm sorry who has a camp? A fire? Food? Water (admittedly shitty water)? I think he needs to take a step back and look at why the women have achieved and then look at what the men achieved and see that these women are quite capable by themselves! And lived Erika carrying that water can all the way and the me were saying "we are going to have to help her aren't we", ummm no!!

I hate Simons attitude especially to Erika, she is awesome.

I felt awful for Hannah.

I was shouting a lot at the tv when Simon was saying something along the lines of ....the girls will just have to crack on making the beds after we have done the frames, they will have to get on with it blah blah... They couldn't even make one frame then his tune completely changed 'well we obv haven't done this before'

And Erika had an awesome bed!

I think it would have been much better if they hadn't found each other.

I felt so sad for Hannah. It really made me cry. She's a strong lady and it was upsetting to see her change so quickly.

The camp will definately miss her.
She was such a good leader managed to get things done without antagonising people.

Hannah's leg just totally changed sides.

In one scene it was the left leg, as it has been all along.

Then in the next two it was the right leg.

Rewound and asked DH. No doubt.
