These people are so vulnerable

TPel · 03/02/2016 21:49

How much money was spent on the prestigious offices I wonder?

WipsGlitter · 03/02/2016 21:49

See this woman's story is really sad. Totally inappropriate intervention to make her totally reliant on them.

Hillingdon · 03/02/2016 21:50

I did give some money a few years ago. It seemed someone was trying to help a really tricky area of society. I didnt like the wailing and screaming when the charity was closed. Very uncomfortable viewing.

Cachareltastic · 03/02/2016 21:50

Can someone check what the Tinterweb says she drew as a salary because I am stunned with what I found!!!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 03/02/2016 21:51

Painting her nails , cool as a cucumber

Namechanger2015 · 03/02/2016 21:51

5 figure sum per year on drivers? Wtf?

Cachareltastic · 03/02/2016 21:51

5 figure sum for her drivers!!!!

UnGoogleable · 03/02/2016 21:51

Oh this poor woman. She has been entirely dependent on Kid's Company for years (and she's an adult).

And now she's saying she's confident that Camilla will come and save her.

Utterly irresponsible of the charity to allow someone to be completely dependent on them with no plan to help them learn how to look after themselves. How odd

Cachareltastic · 03/02/2016 21:52

It says £90k salary in the pages I saw btw

OddBoots · 03/02/2016 21:52

It almost seems like KC has actively fostered dependence.

Badlittlesis · 03/02/2016 21:52

It appears as though the 'clients' were totally infantilised.

They've given them no coping skills at all

Oddoneout63 · 03/02/2016 21:52

So many people left who were totally dependent on KC.

I wish, I wish, I wish we could reach out & help everyone but as a society we just can't. Her kind of love seems to cost so much money - school fees, clothes, rent (?).

She also seems to think that her business is exempt from having to make anyone redundant. Sadly the reality is that all businesses have to make savings. The support service I currently work for has to cut costs by 25% next year - guess what happens first.

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 03/02/2016 21:52

Did anyone read the buzzfeed summary? They were really proactive in the investigation. The Helen Sargent testimony is fascinating www.buzzfeed.com/alanwhite/the-full-story-of-kids-companys-fall#.ubpP5Poozd

Hillingdon · 03/02/2016 21:52

I don't like the filming of the 34 year old totally reliant on this charity. She has been given a huge amount. It isn't what the ethos of the charity was. Funding her life must have cost tens of thousands.

QueenLaBeefah · 03/02/2016 21:52

The swimming pool house is really fucking taking the piss.

Piffpaffpoff · 03/02/2016 21:53

"It's not a luxury pool"

SinisterBumFacedCat · 03/02/2016 21:54

Also saying her bag was Miss Piggy when it was Peppa Pig was annoying entirely misses the point

shortaris1 · 03/02/2016 21:54

Raging at the way she made them dependant. That's the opposite of how you treat vulnerable people!

1manwent2mowWent2mowameadow · 03/02/2016 21:54

I think she genuinely believes the things she says, and that she did everything for the right reasons

Chippednailvarnish · 03/02/2016 21:54

Middle class kids don't generally have private swimming pools!!!

PerspicaciaTick · 03/02/2016 21:54

Is she saying that the house she lives/lived in is primarily a treatment centre for the children?

PerspicaciaTick · 03/02/2016 21:55

What mismanagement? Really??

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 03/02/2016 21:55

'Depends what you call mismanagement'

God she's an arse!
