I see it's on Fox tonight: S6 E7
Is that us back from the mid season break, or is it a repeat of what we were watching before xmas?

Do you think the war will be over by the end of this series? I hate the thought of the enforced hiatus without resolving this issue. (First world problem )

glock I purposely stay away from the graphic novels so I don't have any hints about what's coming up.

But if it were me creating this thing, I would sooooo push the war into season 7.

I don't think Negan even appears until the last episode of this season. He's not credited until the last episode.

We'll all be waiting...

Negan has been built up for so long he's bound to be in series 7. It wouldn't surprise me if he makes it into series 8!

I had the first two compendiums but recently shifted them on eBay - too graphic. Can't remember what happened towards the end of compendium 2.

I think Negan will not appear until the finale.

Cue a bloody and outrageous death ( deaths?).

Leading us nicely into war in season 7.

I agree that someone is totally going to die and I'm pretty sure that TWD will surprise us with who. My gut says Maggie.

There are certainly good reasons to choose Maggie.

She's a long running MC, so they keep the 'no one is safe' mantra alive. It will be doubly brutal given she's pregnant.

That said, if I'd been planning to dispatch Maggie I would have seeded in a lot more concern about her from the group in recent episodes. Set her up as the person carrying their hopes for the future.

Instead they've all been a bit meh. No one even cracked a smile at her scan picture and no one seems to have suggested she put her feet up, or at the very least avoid situations where she might get eaten. Even Carol didn't show concern until this episode just gone!

Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan) played The Comedian in Watchmen. Definitely not a nice character. Mind you, he wasn't too genteel in Supernatural, either.

I think maybe they have done a bit of building Maggie up? Rick pushed her forward to negotiate with Greg and Deana (sp?) made a big deal about Maggie being the next leader. Glenn has commented a lot about how they are looking and building for the future and him and Enid nearly died trying to save Maggie.

But they didn't feel particularly important ( to me) when they occurred.

TBH I think the group's reaction to her pregnancy is realistic. The general feeling of astonishment/ambivalence would seem about right.

Maybe if she dies, there will be collective guilt about not protecting her more?

Was just thinking that given TWD is based around Rick does that mean he'll never be killed off?

I hope so - The Walking Dead is unimaginable without Rick. I think Maggie is for the chop.

Can someone with comic superior knowledge reassure me that Jesus is a good guy?
