I see it's on Fox tonight: S6 E7
Is that us back from the mid season break, or is it a repeat of what we were watching before xmas?
(oh the waiting......)

I've never read the comics but I am wondering if they've been double crossed by the hilltop people. (Giving lots of info about everyone so they know their weaknesses)

Since the sixth sense I always read too much into things & try to work out when the writers are trying to pull the wool over our eyes!

gingerboy1912 · 10/03/2016 16:03

I agree I've never read the comics but right from the start it was Rick's journey. Can't see the point of it all if Rick's gone.

ElderlyKoreanLady · 10/03/2016 16:19

The comic spoilers thread is your friend Margot Grin

MargotLovedTom · 10/03/2016 21:36

Thank you EDK Wink. I've already had a bit of a nosy. I quite fancy the comics but they're a bit pricy.

CosmicOwl · 10/03/2016 22:06

This thread has reminded me of Bill Murray playing himself in Zombieland.

I found the last episode compelling but a bit annoying, why didn't they do more research before just barging in there!

Cleebope · 10/03/2016 23:47

Yes,agree, they barged in too fast... Seemed v reckless to me. It was never going to be t hat easy. Big mistake.

ILikeToClean · 11/03/2016 21:12

Just watched - pretty much shouting "fuck" the whole time! Very stressful. It was all a bit too easy so I knew it wouldn't end well.

iklboo · 11/03/2016 21:38

I always think of a scene from Silence of the Lambs:

Instructor: you check your corners, Starling?
Clarice: No, sir
Instructor: That's why you're dead

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 11/03/2016 23:28

What's crazy is that they're so cautious of new people and groups, but they were just willing to trust what the hilltop group told them and barge in.... Despite their only real interactions being with (hot) Hesus who stole their truck of food, broke out of their jail and appeared in Ricks bedroom.

Seems out of character to me!

BingoBonkers · 12/03/2016 08:05

Exactly. I was wondering if it was a double crossing.

Have we already discussed Abraham's arm injury from a walker in season 5? Could it be that the virus is acting slowly on him, deranging him? Remember how he dressed up in that uniform in the first half of this season? Perhaps that explains his treatment of Rosita--he's going mad.

Abraid2 · 12/03/2016 18:57

Sorry, not a bite, but a walker blood-infected knife injury. See below.

If Abraham was slashed with a knife covered in walker blood and survived maybe he is immune? Something for a future storyline perhaps.

That's what's I wondered, Nano. Or just slowing losing his marbles? A less severe form of the virus or a more slow-acting version?

BeyondTellsEveryoneRealFacts · 13/03/2016 08:23

I remember there being a big deal made about someone (i think it was rick - sorry, crap memory!) getting walker blood in their mouth during a fight with one?

I thought the last woman on earth comment was fine, didnt get the fuss about it. It was honest?

It was just a more brutal form of 'it's not you, it's me.'

I interpretted it like that limited

SagaAndMartinsLiftConvos · 13/03/2016 11:18

Agree with show - there is honest and then there is needlessly cruel. I was Shock at his twattery and I hope Sasha laughs in his twatty face when he hits on her. I may be overinvested Blush

Poor Rosita. She is way too good for him anyway.

limitedperiodonly · 13/03/2016 11:52

I think Sasha likes Abraham as a friend and comrade but her spidey senses are screaming at her to stay away. I'd agree with her Grin

ElderlyKoreanLady · 13/03/2016 11:54

I doubt they're going to go down the weaponised virus route for the series, despite what they did in the comics. Far too many people would be dead already if they did...pretty much anyone who'd sustained any injury from a blade that's killed a walker, plus anyone that got walker blood into a wound of any kind. They were very careful about not letting that happen in the comics. IIRC anyway
