Forgot to say well done jay the only dancer that made me like the rumba normally I just think its a lot of posing , so glad he got great marks , anyone else get the vibe that he and Aliona are an item hopefully wrong as she just got married recently.

Yes Gleb has a wife who is a dancer as well and judges on the Indian Strictly, they did split up for a while and there are rumours he'd had an affair which caused the real up but they are back together and they have a little girl. She's about 4/5 from the photos I've seen.

His wife is predictably gorgeous. Tall, slim, long blonde hair. If he comes back next series I expect her to become a pro as well. Much like Kevin followed Karen onto the show.

Hello all, I just caught up. It wasn't as fun without you all.

GG - quite boring I thought, I think I'm not an especial foxtrot fan. Agree that the extra dancers were at their most pointless.

Anita - I liked it because of their performance, I agreed with the judges that it exposed her weaknesses though. I feel like she's better out if hold than in it - Gleb took tough in her maybe?

KK - I dunno. I didn't hate it.

Jay - I actually thought that rumba was lovely. I've never heard the song, nor of the musical, but I agree with a PP who said they liked the fact it wasn't smut. I thought it was very sweet, and I thought he danced it brilliantly!

Katie - again. Just not a fan of the foxtrot. Meh.

Helen - wtf is her 'acting face' all about?? hammy in the extreme! But damn that girls got pins.

Love Tess' dress this evening.

I agree with PP, it really did look like Kelly was supposed to do something on the table but forgot what it was (anyone else think the table was re-used from the Harry Potter dance Grin)?

Thought Anita was quite poor tonight - her legs looked really awkward and the flicks and kicks were not good at all. Think Craig probably got his score right tbh.

Loved Jay - rumbas are so difficult, particularly for male celebrities so it was pretty amazing!!

Yes Kurri I find him quite likeable now, but as his personality has improved his dancing has become less sinuous and less sexy.

My betting is that Jay is going to blindside the tabloids by running off with Oti at the end of the series. Basing this prediction partly on my spidey sense but mostly on how hilarious it would be for the muck-rakers to be so wrong. A bit unfortunate for his nebulous quasi-girlfriend I grant you, but I'm sure if she was that fussed she'd not be living on a different continent.

I think at least three of these couples have things for each other. I fully expect Georgia and Giovanni to become an item after the series ends and she dumps her boyfriend, much like Rachel Riley and Ben Cohen did. Jay and Aliona fancy each other for sure, but she is only recently married. Then there is Anita as I mentioned earlier.

Kellie and Helen in the dance off for me, and between them I don't mind who goes.

Although having said that I think some of Kellie's dances have been really original and she has pulled them off. Her hip-hop cha cha and the Oom Pah Pah VW are dances that shouldn't have worked but somehow did.

I find Katie extremely graceful. Long neck and long legs. I would like her to stick around. I was a bigger fan of Anita's before this evening, tonight I thought she let herself down somewhat. GG and Jay I love. Jay won me over back in Movie Week (way back in week 3 was it?) and that Pulp Fiction jive. Magic.

Who wouldn't fall for Oti, honestly she is just about perfect physically and comes across as very down to earth and easy going. I was commenting last week they they were quite cuddly and giggly behind Claud after someone else's dance.

Anthony was Oti's partner. He went out early without making much of an impression on the judges or the voting public, and clearly made no impression whatsoever on you Needed. Wink

I think Jay's jive should have been all 10s, but they were reluctant to do that so early in the competition. If he had done exactly the same dance in week 8 or later it would have been a 40.

I agree Movember, that was definitely a 40. I was surprised GG American Smooth didnt get 40 as well.

I wonder if Craig has sat on his ten for so long now he's too scared to use it...

Jay's going to be spoiled for choice in the final between his jive, tango and rumba. And the judges are going to have to lie through their teeth when he repeats that jive just the same (assuming no errors) and they have to pretend that it's magically 3 points better.
