I know none of you read the DM but don't read the comments on the article about Strictly today as there's a spoiler in there and I now know who's gone

Not the first time the DM has revealed the spoiler, I'm sure they do it on purpose because they hate the BBC.

I like them all now. I think Kellie did really well with the odd job song/dance, Katie and Helen are so graceful. I like Jay, but I'm not sure why. G&G were as gg gorgeous as ever. I love Anita and Gleb. OK I love Gleb. I've never seen such a pretty man.

Alijaz was sweet about Helen's dress going upstairs.

Kevin was pretty sweet about Kellie, 'it's just us'

Have just looked up the film "Once" that J & A danced to/from. Am a bit less about his shirt & jeans. But not a lot.

Maybe I'm increasingly a bear of little brain. Found the background dancers distracting & the clothes too.

I don't get the Gleb love & wonder if the judges are a bit harsher on her because they don't either.

Do think Alijaz is v swoonsome. K&K get on my wick, both of them. G&G are v watchable but only on the dancefloor. In the VTs he looks like he's about to burst into tears. Jay looks like a real sweetie so wouldn't mind if he won but my dislike of the smuggery that would increase by 100 fold from Aliona is colouring my view somewhat.

Earlier - cannot remember which dance it was- I was disappointed in Jay's outfit. it was again a long open shirt covering his hip movements and whole upper body. trousers were baggy ones which showed no leg movement either.
Last night again but at least the trousers were not baggy. what is it about these loose open shirts over a t-sh/vest? Not attractive or ballroomish.

You see I think Aliona's epic smugness if she's the first pro ever to win twice after being sacked and rehired and having a fight with Len and getting injured and being stuck with a series of geriatric duffers will make Jay's win all the sweeter. Frankly the thought of her victory would tempt me to vote Jay even if he danced like Iwan Thomas.

Was Aliona sacked in the past?

I hate Les Mis, didn't like that dance at all and the backing dancers were a total distraction.

Aliona had her contract non-renewed a couple of seasons ago, and she threw a bit of a strop. Then Natalie got injured so Aliona was reluctantly rehired at the last minute to partner a semi-immobile duffer.

Oh and I forgot that time she sued Brendan. So he'd be pissed off too.

They could have done a nod to the checked shirt & jeans for Jay and made them more show/performance-like.

Was it Gleb pointing out that Anita has no dance experience? May have been a slight dig at the others but still - if you told me that tomorrow morning Id start learning the paso or the VW or AT and then would be performing it live on TV next Saturday night I'd be having palpitations so loud you could hear them on the moon.

Aliona fell out with Len got sacked and has sued Brendan WHAT? She sounds a delight

I reckon Aliona had it written in to her contract when she replaced Natalie at the last minute, that she'd be on the following year as well and NOT get a duffer.

And Brendan totally deserved to be sued - he included a large picture of Aliona in posters for his own tour that she wasn't in.

Tours - just realised I never wondered what the pros do the rest of the year. Because logically they can't sit in an empty training room waiting for September to come around Watching a bit of Bake Off and clearing out the garage.

Know that Flavia & Vincent do/did a show but they're not on SCD any more.

Erin and Anton do a big tour (though Erin missed it for maternity leave one year). Brendan does a medium sized tour. Pasha and Katya did a little tour one year. Most of them do the official SCD Tour which is a huge moneyspinner. Then there are guest appearances on SCD cruises and weekends in country house hotels. Private lessons in some cases.

The money for the SCD pros isn't great per hour of work but the spinoff opportunities for the rest of the year are very lucrative.

One of my friends went on an SCD cruise. She had her photo taken with Ian Waite, I was quite jealous. Love Ian and miss him from the show.

I think he's hot BUT in that dance he was thinking of himself. I'm going to send a question to ITT which is " Are the pros supposed to choreograph for their partners or themselves?". Poor Anita.

To the poster who said Les Mis. is the best musical of all. I disagree it's West Side Story by a million miles!!!!!!! IMO.!!!

Anita - I agree that gleb seems to choreography for himself. But I do also wonder how many hours of training were lost due to glebs allergic reaction?
Kellie - just what? I totally lost the dance. Was meant to be a VW wasn't it? Also, on ITT during week Kevin was asked if he had any input on Kellies outfits, apparently she has most discussions with wardrobe so she must agree with the outfits?!!
Jay - very understated.
Katie - I rather liked it but agree too much flim flam at the start.
Helen - another one when I couldnt figure out what the dance was. Absolutely her worst dance. Don't think her skirt helped. So much material in it.

Anyway, to the poster who was saying about who was the oldest left, Katie is 45.

Also I looked up Anita, she's 38. I'm not quite sure why they keep harping on about Kellie's age
