Though Jay and Aliona's dance was beautiful -just classy and tender. Being the only male left he doesn't get to hide any faults under a frock - can see all his leg and hip action and footwork and it's very effortless. His clothes were totally right for the story of his dance, - and he can come and clear my garage out anytime he likes. Grin

I think the others suffered from the extraneous dancers - especially Georgia - the teapot et al stood right in front of the camera at one point (and in front of the judges)

Didn't like Anita's dance - not because of her, - but it was all about Gleb as usual - flinging himself forward in a slide while she twiddled about in the background - and her legs weren't sharp enough for an AT (theming didn't help her)

Theming didn't help Helen either - I feel the paso has it's own story, so always looks a bit odd done with another theme, and again to many people on the stage- detracts from the main dancers. She got the constipation paso face off to a T though.

Quite liked Kellie this week - at least she had an OK frock for once.

Kudos to Helen, Jay and Anita for not to playing the kids card.

K&K have not been getting the viewers votes, unfortunately. Twice in the Dance Off already. Judges love Kellie and although I did love the music the dance was a bit disappointing for me. Think something went wrong on the table for Kelly.

I don't Anita has a crush on Gleb - I get the impression she thinks he's an arrogant wanker doesn't particularly like him - I could be projecting though Grin

Glittery I get the impression that any straight female who comes within 10 feet of Gleb has a crush on him. If Anita didn't have a huge crush on him after 13 weeks of rubbing up against him it would be astonishing.

Can i just say Gleb tonight hubba hubba Grin. i loved tonight and Helen and Katie were my favourites tonight although Helen had a wobble when Darcy wasnt keen

How does anyone, least of all the viewers, concentrate on the contestant with all the other dancers/ props getting in the way?Confused
I thought Helen had it the worst.

Digerd - I thought the same about the table, she jumped on it and the stomped about for a bit then jumped down. Was expecting something more.

His young dance partner on the Russian Strictly apparently had a huge crush on him. I think Anita does as well and tries to push it to the back of her mind.

He's so fucking handsome though.

Kurri I think it's quite possible to dislike a person's personality but still have a crush on them. In Brendan's early Strictly years I used to fancy him like mad when he was dancing but feel immensely irritated by him when he wasn't.

Totally bemused by all the Gleb love - I don't think he is remotely handsome and has the personality of a plank, no sense of humour and takes himself very seriously. Massive turn offs. I think almost every other male on the programme is more attractive than him (and I'm including Len in that)

Maybe I'm prejudiced after my DD had a couple of years of hell with a 'traditional' Russian Piano teacher when she was at Uni and he comes over as very much the same type of teacher. He exudes arrogance - a very very unattractive quality in my book. Can see I am in the minority though -but in real life, mean and moody is not very nice.

I agree with that Movember. When Brendan dances he is sex on legs, at least ge used to be, he is getting a bit of middle age spread now. But he is not a likeable person.

Helen irritated me with her thank yous for her scores tonight. She doesn't fool us that she is happy with the scpre by saying thank you after each judge scores her.

I think Kelly and Helen are exhausted, but Kelly is 8 years older and has a young child.

Oh yes, Len definitely has a twinkle in his eye. I'm sure he'd show a lady a good time ;)

But if you watch ITT you'll see Gleb has quite a good sense of humour. He posted a photo on Twitter on himself with a horrendous allergy, if he loved himself he'd never do that.

Not seen SCD tonight yet but did anyone think the little skit in ITT where the Friday pannel were talking about Craig behind his back, Zoe rushed in to tell them he was in the seat beside them then Vernon let out this really horrible laugh was actually pretty shitty? I just had a vision of Vernon being a really horrible bully as a kid. reads too much into it

Also, Vernon hasnt been on anything decent TV much recently - I did think having him on ITT as a super fan or whatever was scraping the barrel.

I think Brendan has mellowed over the years Movember - maybe family life suits him, but agree he was immensely irritating in the early years.

Loved Jay's rumba, though I'm not sure I'd have given it 39. Was made even more awesome by Ronan Keating(my teenage love)'s appearance in his VT.

Thought Kellie was sabotaged by the song choice - there are SO many possibilities for a VW from musicals! She played the character well, though I don't think she deserved the same mark as Georgia.

I normally like Helen but far too much snarling this week, and not as clean as she usually is. I don't think the backing dancers helped her (or most of the others) at all.

Gleb is gorgeous but I think its more hero worship by Anita surely? ( he has a wife and new baby as they reminded us in week 2) in that he really has turned her into a dancer
However usually I love her but the judges were right, I kept saying what's wrong with her legs? the sharp kicks just were not there I loved the lifts but it did look like she was pigeon toed and it didn't work even with the fabu lous Chicago music.
loved Helen's dance but le Mis is the best musical on the planet EVER.
Liked K and k but agree something was missing when she went on the table the first time Might be k and k and katy /Anton in the dance off wouldnt bother if Katy and Anton went as he has really gone further than he thought and still think Kelly is a better dancer than Katy.

Kevin seems to have a thing about tables. Already put Kellie on a table during halloween week and also did something with a table (or some kind of wall, maybe?) during the final with Frankie Sandford ( though I wondered later if she was pregnant at the time and it was to cover for a lack of lifts..)

I'm just re-watching in iPlayer, and it looked as though Anita landed one of her lifts onto Glebs foot. It is quite hard to watch her and not him, even though I'm trying to block him and concentrate on her.
