No, if Annika born in 1985 then she would be 30 now. so she could have a child that is as old as 16 ... Awful but it happens. Jeanette is 20 though, did somebody say that? I don't remember hearing Jeanette's age.

The actor is 43 so I guess the character of Freddie is about that age too, maybe a bit older. I guess, if Freddie had had a child at 20 it could be as old as in his/her early 20s. But a lot of the characters are 30 something. The 20 something characters are all either pregnant with his child! or shot (mark) . What happened to creepy Rikard?

could Jeanette's baby be Freddie's Grandchild? ie, that jeanette is his child in actual fact and the baby they're selling was mark's child but freddie's grandchild? The impregnantion method has never been referred to !!
But then, who would be that angry on Jeanette's behalf? Jeanette's mother?! That doesn't make sense. I'll shut up.

Everything points to someone who hates Freddie, i.e. Claes, but he's not linked to the other murders

ALL the murders are linked to Freddie, as they are about the art pieces Claes lost to him.

I'm off work today and think I might just watch them all again, and take notes! I'm not sure that Emil said A was younger, just lower in the pecking order. Emil was going to see his dad in Malmo when he was taken back by Hans. I'm quite taken with the theory that Peter is his father.

DH and I started watching from the 1st series again the other night. It's astonishing the transformation Saga has gone through. I don't know if the actress has made Saga's main characteristics more obvious/pronounced as the series has gone on or whether we're supposed to be seeing just how much everything she's been through in the last few years with Martin, the previous murders (Martin's son for example), the stuff with her family etc. has taken a toll on her. (I'd like to believe it's the latter!)

She's a lot more smiley in the 1st series, her eyes are brighter. Anyone else gone back and noticed this?

I can't imagine Annika ever being at the bottom of the pecking order especially if she was 4 years older. She is a strong character I don't think you just develope that strength in adulthood after an abusive childhood.

Ooh I love, love Henrik! Does anyone else think he sounds hilarious when he says English words?! Like some of the art titles and Merry Christmas, Cancelling Christmas etc?!
I have a theory on Hans' sudden brain failure. I reckon Saga's Mum really does have Munchausen's by Proxy and has killed Hans out of jealousy/spite. And proving she did that will.prove her role in Jennifer's (Saga's sister) childhood illnesses and vindicate Saga, clearing her of murder. There is no real reason for the writers to have kept him in a coma for so long to take a sudden turn for the worse. The doctor did explain to Lillian that they didn't know why he was deteriorating... Sexy pathologist will.work with Saga tk reveal the truth about his death and use medical notes from Saga's sister to piece the puzzle together/notice similarities between the two.
What do people think of that theory?

Who is Peter?, have I missed something again? I like the Hans theory, did Sagas mum die before or after him?

Y,y Brush I can totally buy that theory! I always thought there was something going on with Hans' sudden deterioration but thought it had something to do with his ex-wife. Didn't think about Saga's mum being able to have access to him, though.

I also think Emil is guilty somehow. I think him and Morten share the same father (Morten's dead Dad a red herring) as a donor from Hanne Anker's old fertility clinic. And that the number on his fridge is the donor code. Hence Morten's claim he was killed by his brother. I think Emil is in cahoots with Annika and both have a chip on their shoulder from having not had good childhoods.

Could Hans be the sperm doner for Anneka and Freddie the father of Emil?

I have to give some credit to dh for that Hans theory. We like to bounce ideas off of each other! Although that theory would be dead in the water if it turns out Hans died after Saga's Mum. I can't remember...

ooh - one thing I have to add... think it was in episode 2 or 3... henrik FORGOT to introduce Saga properly.. just said "saga noren"

Brush her mum could have done something to Hans to make him deteriorate, then killed herself, then he died from whatever it is she did so could still be plausible...
