...but how will we cope without Martin? Without his warmth and humour won't it be a bit bleak?

OP posts:

ovenchips, you could be right, remember when Gertrude emerged as the real baddie, the bigger baddie than her husband who turned out to be JUST a pervert :-p

I wonder if somebody ELSE will turn out to have been at the foster home. The very pretty papparazzi?

anonymice · 13/12/2015 11:21

It was only a tiny second of clip. And now I am wondering if Emil is Mortens foster brother. And when Saga is going to find time to read up on the case of Henrik's missing family....I love this series !

sefoolie · 13/12/2015 11:22

Morten is Danish though. And the foster parents were a Swedish family.

Not that that rules that out of course. And it would make sense of the 'brother' comment.

sefoolie · 13/12/2015 11:22

was Danish

sefoolie · 13/12/2015 11:23

annonymice, oh yes, how exciting, she will have to read Henrik's file now to keep her mind off being a murder suspect.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 13/12/2015 11:25

I'm wondering if Henrik and Saga will develop a relationship, only for his family to come back? I don't see how it will be solved this series...there's so much else to sort!

Hangingbasket14 · 13/12/2015 11:25

I'm not convinced about Hans' only involvement being taking Emil back to his foster family and also the fact that he was the only victim left alive.....Could there be the possibility that Hans is someone's father? Annika/Emil?

sefoolie · 13/12/2015 11:30

I hope they are cracking on with series four already because after series two ended at the beginning of february 2014, so nearly TWO years ago, we had to wait nearly two years for series three. They'd better not do that to us again.

anonymice · 13/12/2015 11:31

Yes is Emils father really dead or was he in Paris like Emil said when he ran away...

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 13/12/2015 11:34

sefoolie I know! I can't wait that long again.

ovenchips · 13/12/2015 11:43

If there is one of the 'Kill Brothers' still unaccounted for could that be Emil? And that would then make sense about Morten referring to his killer as his brother. I didn't know if Morten was ever fostered tbh - was just speculating.Smile

But in dramas such as this, two classic plotpoints are the killer attaching himself to case, as Emil did by visiting the station to discuss the art link, and suspicion falling on the killer but then them pretending to be one of the victims (who conveniently manages to escape).

My head was buzzing with all this last night. Which prob means it's totally wrong!

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 13/12/2015 11:43

...but according to this article it looks pretty up in the air: www.radiotimes.com/news/2015-11-28/the-bridge-series-three-could-be-the-last-says-series-creator-hans-rosenfeldt

Sad
ovenchips · 13/12/2015 11:45

Ooh Anonymice do we know who Emil's father is? I can't remember watching that bit.

AgentProvocateur · 13/12/2015 11:45

As an aside, I've made it very clear to DH, that if I was to disappear, and he had a new woman - if she ever asked to borrow some of my pants, he must make sure that he gives her my good ones. Not my comfy period pants Wink

NoahVale · 13/12/2015 12:42

Grin Agent

hackmum · 13/12/2015 13:05

ovenchips: "I still think Annika is a red herring as the murderer (she is obviously loopy in other ways) and was set up by art curator Emil as she is from the ominous sounding fostered past they shared."

Yes, because Emil came out with that line about Annika being treated worse than any of the other foster children, but that was contradicted, wasn't it? So perhaps Emil is trying to set her up.

I agree that Hans is somehow going to turn out to have a bigger role in this.

Anyone else think that Saga's boss is going to turn out to be a baddie?

I must admit I become more confused with every episode.

sefoolie · 13/12/2015 13:19

Yes, and Henrik said to Linn (as they were walking in to Annika's house) that Emil only confirmed what they already knew/thought they knew. Seems weird that they learnt nothing from that interview.

I loved Annika's house! not her weird basement but the normal half.

Saga will solve the mystery around henriks family. There is no way she'll be able to sit and put her feet up.

There is also no way she'll form a lasting relationship with henrik, so it could be that the wife and kids do turn up.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 13/12/2015 13:37

Yes, I wonder if she will reunite them but feel conflicted by her feelings towards Henrik.

ovenchips · 13/12/2015 14:21

Someone made an interesting comment on the Guardian website which I thought could be right: that the body remains that the pathologist (or whoever he is) shows to Saga could be Henrik's wife?

From the scene where the pathologist asks if she has time to look at something interesting and Saga is abrupt and says something like 'No I don't have time, I'm busy' but they end up briefly talking about it anyway and about it being found in clay.

StoptheRavelry · 13/12/2015 15:06

That's a fair thought about it being Henrik's wife Sad I hope not though. It didn't look very, um, recognisable.

I'm curious to know how Sagas mother is supposed to have died.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 13/12/2015 15:20

Ohhh my!! That is such a good theory!

NeverEverAnythingEver · 13/12/2015 15:44

I'm away for 2 weeks with NO ACCESS to iplayer. >

NeverEverAnythingEver · 13/12/2015 15:45

While we are sitting here talking Saga would have gone and solved everything just to prove to Linn that she DOESN'T NEED A BREAK. >

sefoolie · 13/12/2015 17:19

Im not in uk and i fiddle about and watch it. Have been severely reprimanded fo admitting that in past though :-o
