...but how will we cope without Martin? Without his warmth and humour won't it be a bit bleak?

OP posts:

I'm still wondering about the young art curator chap - Emil? There seemed to be too many connections/ coincidences between him and everything: the people who were murdered, working at the factory where one of the murders took place (and maybe getting access to that colleague's yellow car) and having the art knowledge.

Maybe he faked being captured to take suspicion away from himself and to implicate Annika to punish her for something from their foster days together?

Hangingbasket14 · 13/12/2015 04:42

My money is on Annika and Claes, she did all the early ones linked to her unhappy childhood but the end game of screwing over Freddie is all Claes. I was a bit surprised by how cold he was when Asa asked him if he had gone to the press about he fake baby. I can't shake the feeling that there is someone 'on the inside' at the police, the fact that the killer knew where the stolen iPad was confused me. Saga is being royally screwed over, I think Henrik will discover something that puts her out of the frame for her mothers murder.

NoahVale · 13/12/2015 07:29

i thought it was an inside job too, but then i thought, pehraps the killer/yellow car owner, also had a tracker on their ipod

NoahVale · 13/12/2015 07:32

Am taken with Henrik as well, swoon.
Henrik did pay Saga a visit the night of her mother's murder didnt he?

Rasmus is a bad un

what about woman/ young lover/husband, and her controlling mother. did they also foster did they say?

Hissy · 13/12/2015 08:32

Find my iPad .... That's how you'd track the iPad, but killer could have wiped it from there too... But that's not dramatic or helpful for viewing figures Grin

Love love love the bridge, am even trying to learn Danish

I think the relationship between saga and henrik is really interesting, the intensity and twists are fascinating.

Hangingbasket14 · 13/12/2015 08:48

Hissy, we thought that but then why not just wipe it instead of the possibility of getting caught? I think I don't trust anyone 'on the inside' since Rasmus.

Stasie · 13/12/2015 08:48

Claes and the spade

Freddie - how did he get the keys to the cottage back? Who does he know?

The guys that stopped by Jeanette's car that time, and stole the bag from the boot - they were the ones who sent her to fetch it - it was just to make her and Marc think they had failed.

I am really confused about that, about Freddie's link to them, about that nasty guy who was torturing Marc by making him shoot himself with blanks.

I can't remember what happened to him.
Obvs someone's going to try to kill Jeanette and take the baby, I don't think it could be Asa, really - but where the heck is Annika?

Stasie · 13/12/2015 08:56

Just remembered the eyeballs on the Christmas tree.

I'm not a psychopath but I am afraid I laughed at him saying 'Merry Christmas' when he saw those Blush

Hangingbasket14 · 13/12/2015 09:16

I'm sure Annika and Claus are behind it. I'm still not sure if the Morten murder is linked or just a way of involving the shady gambling guy, the fact that they kept mentioning the fact that he said it was 'his brother' makes me think more than just a sub plot.

NoahVale · 13/12/2015 09:30

Claus had a spade, which rather oddly he took into his house

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 13/12/2015 09:30

So much to wrap up in the last 2 episodes...seriously can't wait for next weekend!

I also wondered if the museum guy was faking his escape and still has something to do with it all.

NoahVale · 13/12/2015 09:31

yes, The one that Got away, I wondered that too

Hangingbasket14 · 13/12/2015 09:35

Saga Noren, that's what DH thinks, but if that's the case and not sure how Claus fits in. I was pretty sure from when we saw the person torturing Hans that it was a woman.

NoahVale · 13/12/2015 09:38

I love it how she says saga noren, from Malmo police to everyone, even when she is actually at the police station Grin

NeverEverAnythingEver · 13/12/2015 10:24

She says she's Malmo police all the time. That's how she defines herself and Henrik knows that and said she needs to work. She'll fall to bits now she's "on leave". :(

sefoolie · 13/12/2015 10:54

what is that thing she says that sounds like ''land area'' or ?? saga noren landskram, malmo

sefoolie · 13/12/2015 10:56

oh, region Smile doh.

sefoolie · 13/12/2015 11:03

hangingbasket This scene lasted one second so if you blinked you missed it but it showed the gloved hand of the killer typing in a code in to a website called ''find my tablet''.

Hangingbasket14 · 13/12/2015 11:07

Sefoolie - DH saw it (I was reaching for the wine!) but we did wander why if they could find it they wouldn't just wipe it remotely? Way too over invested in this series!

ovenchips · 13/12/2015 11:08

I still think Annika is a red herring as the murderer (she is obviously loopy in other ways) and was set up by art curator Emil as she is from the ominous sounding fostered past they shared.

Somehow, the way he told police about the sounds he could hear while 'captured' in her house which led them to pinpoint with incredible accuracy where he was being held seemed too accurate. And his flat seemed odd and not lived in at all - suggesting he lives mainly somewhere else, maybe somewhere with that incredibly creepy doll's house?

I can't remember if we saw any images of Emil being taken or held by murderer but I don't think so, which makes me think it's staged. As I said upthread, he's only one with all the multiple connections to what's happened. And when Morten got murdered and said it was his 'brother' could he have meant his foster brother?

anonymice · 13/12/2015 11:09

Saga noren landskrim malmo.
Regional crime unit malmo.
And I wonder about the guy who owns the place where all the blood was found in the lorry after the first murder because a man shot Morten Anker. What if he was in charge of their regiment in Afghanistan ? We are still missing one of the Kill brothers....

StoptheRavelry · 13/12/2015 11:09

I thought that was the clever chap at the police station using find my laptop, having implanted the app via the virus he sent to it?

anonymice · 13/12/2015 11:12

The person using 'find my tablet' got there just before Jon at the police sent his virus to track it. Was definitely the murderer as they were wearing spooky rubber gloves inthe clip...

StoptheRavelry · 13/12/2015 11:14

ah you are far more on the ball than myself Grin

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 13/12/2015 11:19

Was Morten in foster care? I thought his mum was the first murder victim? But yes, I more or less agree with it being staged, oven.

I really hope Saga continues to work on the case even though she is on "leave," but I suppose that would be very un-Saga of her...she follows the rules. In regards to her mum's murder, why hasn't anyone thought of the fact that she didn't hesitate in reporting Martin for murdering that bloke so would be very unlike her to go and do the same sort of crime? Confused I think it shows how very few people really understand her, and her moral compass.
