...but how will we cope without Martin? Without his warmth and humour won't it be a bit bleak?

OP posts:
RomComPhooey · 06/12/2015 20:42

And I was mentally flicking V signs at Linn during the exchange with Saga in the stairwell. Cow!

DorothyL · 06/12/2015 21:09

I really like Henrik... Did anyone else think it was sweet when Saga agreed to spend the night when before she had said sex or nothing? And when she told him what she had been reading.

Very worried though that she will
get hurt Sad

RomComPhooey · 06/12/2015 21:14

Aw, just finished watching. Poor ghost Alice. It seemed like an important step forwards for Henrik. And maybe Saga too?

ChippyOik · 06/12/2015 22:44

I don't feel sad for ''ghost alice'' as I see her not as a ghost but as henrik's conscience? it could still be henrik who is somehow responsible for Alice's disappearance. Not that he murdered her but that he drove her away. Drugs. Infidelity. ??

Tirfarthoin · 06/12/2015 23:23

I think Linn has just fallen hook, line and sinker for Saga's mothers lies. And is also a controlling busy body who feels that Saga is not up to the job d/t her personality (has she been told that Saga has some sort of mental illness/ disability by Saga's mother?) there seems to be a bit of a theme for controlling older women in the series, and Saga has difficulty dealing with them (a hang over from her childhood I suppose)

ChippyOik · 06/12/2015 23:55

The question from the blog about 'why introduce hanne thompson only to get rid of her quickly?' I think it was just so that they could have the first incident to rattle saga. It's supposed to be her unravelling, and hanne's leg getting blown off was the first rattle.

RomComPhooey · 06/12/2015 23:58

I agree.

What is going on with the wife faking her pregnancy and the young, pregnant girl staying until she gives them her baby?? So strange. Did he cheat on his wife or is she a paid surrogate?

Also did anyone notice one of the art installations is OF a baby? Bit worrying!

Yes, but Jeanette is not the only 'pregnant' character and the killer likes to expose hypocrisy....

NoahVale · 07/12/2015 07:38

ah interesting, freddie's wife might be in danger

Tirfarthoin · 07/12/2015 08:31

Jeanette doesn't seem to be coerced or have anything other than good intentions so I guess it must be an agreed surrogacy.
I don't think Freddie's wife is bad just finding the pressure of impending parenthood a bit hard especially as Freddie's is not getting her stress.
The most sinister character is the funeral director, she is terrifying me.
What I'm still trying to work out is why did the man who took Hans get shot? And Morten Anker? They don't seem to be part of the same art installation plot. Was it just coincidence that Hans was taken before the actual murderer could take him or did the murderer change his plans because Hans was taken?

NoahVale · 07/12/2015 09:11

one of them was a copy cat, but i dont think Hans was

Tirfarthoin · 07/12/2015 09:24

The swing one was a copycat. Hans' attempted murder wasn't a copycat but he wasn't originally taken by the art installation/babylonian numbers murderer, that kidnapper was shot. It just seems unnecessarily complicated.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 07/12/2015 10:29

The only thing that confused me about the pregnancy being a surrogacy is the wife is so weird about being around Jeanette. Confused

Whatevva · 07/12/2015 10:54

The surrogacy seems to be more Freddy's thing. He is being very PFB with Jeanette, hence the removal of the bag (drugs money?) and taking her in after the near-crash. He obviously financed the house purchase for Jeanette (not that that is going to last long with the gambling one).

The plastic baby installation is worrying, but I think that Aisa my be more of a target.

quirkychick · 07/12/2015 10:57

Weetabix that clip of Sofia Helin is fantastic! It's great to see her body language change as she turns into Saga.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers perhaps Asa (the wife) feels inadequate that they can't have a baby. She certainly said that the deal was that she wouldn't have to meet Jeanette.

quirkychick · 07/12/2015 10:58

Presumably, Freddie has quite a lot of enemies...

CalypsoLilt · 07/12/2015 11:45

Sorry just catching up on thread!

Best series yet, absolutely hooked Grin

Did the gambler boyfriend throw the house keys into the 'pot' at a poker game in the last episode? There was a big wooden toggle thing that I thought might have been house keys.

Yes - I think they showed Jeanette holding them up in episode 5

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 07/12/2015 20:26

Yes he did, the bellend.

sofiahelin · 07/12/2015 21:18

Yes the funeral director is terrifying. Reminds me of Alice Morgan in Luther...creepy Shock

expatinscotland · 07/12/2015 21:22

The stalker chick is classic!

RomComPhooey · 07/12/2015 21:24

She's got him over a barrel now with the pics of her dead father. Poor murdering love. I wonder how far she'll have to push him before he cracks and decides the long arm of the law is preferable.

expatinscotland · 07/12/2015 21:26

She's quite pretty. Prettier than Asa, IMO. He's very stupid, too.
