Can you just dig up clay from your garden to make a pot?

Having been watching this and reading this thread with interest.

I loved the pod structure and thought it should have won. I would buy that in an instant - I hope she makes more, even if they are in a smaller design. So gorgeous and a lovely structure to have in your garden throughout the seasons.

As a gardener, worked in the past professionally, I have to say that the strawberry pot that won would not work for a strawberry pot. It was lovely as a structure though and would have been better as a sedum pot. The best strawberry pot was actually the one that was designed with the strawberries on it, i.e pod lady. She deserved potter of the week on garden designs and their applications alone.

I hate the crying bit. So contrived.

I think the judges show favouritism towards the contestants with wacky hairdos

I thought Sally-Jo should have gone - coming bottom in the throw down and the skills test.

I do like Matthew - he is growing on me - I think it will be him or Jim to win - and I would rather him than Jim.

Didn't Matthew come bottom in the skills test?

I get the impression that most of the decision is based on the main make though and they really liked her chandelier.

I really want a chandelier like sally-jo's! really nice looking.

The male judge needs to stop blubbing ffs. Once, ok...but every single episode

I can't warm to Matthew. Or Sally-Jo. Sorry. Although Sally Jo's chandelier was my favourite.

A judge weeping once or twice would be endearing. More than that would warrant a lobbed sloppy ball of clay.

I like Sally-Jo and Tom. Matthew is a smug git who expects to win and Jim is like a cariacture of himself - I liked him to start with.

i have never seen a judge on one of these shows blub. SewingBee Patrick would never blub...

I understand that it is probably all to do with the editing, but Matthew always seems to be keeping himself aloof from the others.
