I also cried at the Cole/Alison scene.

I do really like how the future scenes give you little snippets of what's to come.

Love the two leads but also think Cole and Helen are great.

Helen is brilliant.
I also thought Alison was really good this week. She seems to shine more in the episodes when she's not with Noah.
I feel the writers gave her a good storyline this week.
I've tried and tried but I'm not feeling it with Noah and can't understand why anybody in their right mind would prefer him to Cole.
Cole's character has more depth and he's good looking.

The creepy boss scene was heartbreaking. Just when she thought she had a shoulder to lean on and a kind ear, all along he was only seeing her as a sex object.

Why are you calling Cole pacey?

I don't get why Alison was sacked. Was it what the publisher read in the book. Did she suss her husband fancied her?

Cole was Pacey in Dawsons Creek.

I assumed she got the sack because Noah had written about just how filthy Alison was (in a sexy way obviously) & the boss preferred not to have Alison around her husband (& that's without even knowing about his boner!).

I just looked she's been at ballet school since she was five which explains her posture and figure. Just says she was in an episode of Blue Bloods she's a full time student at Columbia and speaks four languages. She's also 20.

I just remember from being a model and the fuss that was made when she was in Troy. Talking of fashion I'm just watching the British fashion awards Christ they all look like theyve been on the marching powder all day.

I loved this episode best so far this series. I think the publisher sacked her as she has been the ow to her husband and knows how all consuming it is and doesn't totally trust her husband. I was so disappointed in him Alison is so vulnerable that I think is part of the appeal she makes men feel strong around her and is a turn on for them

I love Cole the scene with Alison and Cole made my cry too.

Noah is becoming more dislikable by the minute. Helen was great, when she is in the back if the car and says why are you doing this to us summed up everything it's all about him not Alison or obviously his children but what he wants

I've started watching season 1 again with DP. It's really funny now I get the whole '2 perspectives thing' to see how different their views are, how her hair is done, how short her skirt is, who said what, who made the moves etc. I suppose as a writer, his side will automatically be more of a dramatic retelling and she looks so forlorn and downtrodden in all of her scenes.

how far are people up to? I am watching online too impatient so won't post anything incase!

Season 2 is at least a 100x better than Season 1.
I nearly gave up with Season 1, it was so slow, but I persevered and am glad I did.

Season 1 seemed to be all (mainly) about the sex scenes, which was good for a while and I'm sure they boosted viewer figures , but even they got boring to watch after a while. The series needed other stuff going on to make it more interesting - which is what is happening in Season 2.

Totally agree. Season 1 too full about Coles family and the stupid drug dealing plot line

Just seen the latest episode. Wow! Even Noah thought Helen was reasonable. Did he rape Alison?

Loved the first part about Helen, but it went downhill rapidly after that.

It thought it could constitute as rape as well. Noah really is a bastard.

I do feel for Alison. She has been through the worst thing a person can and it has obviously impacted on everything.

This season is so much better for the point of views of the wonderful Helen and Cole alone.

Misty, we are slightly ahead here, so last night we saw episode 8. So UK must have been on episode 6 this week.

Ah yes thanks just checked and I'm up to episode 8 as well from watching online. I thought the first season aired several months earlier in the US so was disappointed it's only slightly ahead this time. Had hoped they'd all be online for my illegal viewing

We are getting it aired as soon as it airs in USA, so I dont think you will be able to watch any quicker unfortunately.....

I think theirs airs on a Tuesday and we get it Wednesday.

Damn, I hate waiting too.....
