Anyway - not much new in this episode - just confirms that yes Noah is a self-obsessed creep and Helen is lovely and still seems to love him for some unfathomable reason.

I still can't workout when Helen shagged the best mate, does it ever become a thing? He was giving Noah money but I still can't work out that time line.

She had no intention of having sex with Noah. She said she never mixed business and pleasure - yet kisses him. Takes off her top and insinuates she wants sex with him / leading him on then if you prefer that term

Yes everyone has a right to say no. But don't get yourself in that situation

I don't think Noah's publicist had any intention of having sex with him, she has been shown in everyone's version to not be a particularly nice person and one who is trying to control Noah which I guess is part of her job

I do not like the term cock tease as it implies that if something were to happen against her wishes she has no right to complain

I thin Helen slept with Noah's best friend (who she has always known has been in love with her) about a year prior to this episode as it was when the son was in hospital she broke it off, the same time he offered Noah money to get his booked printed

Publisher isn't a prick tease- but it was a power play. She's exposed Noah for the cheat he is, reassured herself she is sexier than the 'personification of sex' Alison and given herself something to hold over Noah.

Alison was always seen through Noah's eyes as being a temptress, always flirtatious and alluring, pouty and sultry and very sexual

now the nice homemaker all that seems to have gone poor guy must feel trapped

I like Helen but really wish she would grow a back bone. Noah is a prick and she's gone all saintly on him sweetly clapping add he reads extracts from his dirty novel.

Still obsessed with Cole and find his story the most moving, although I hate all the family shit. Noah is vile and I'm surprised that I felt slightly glad he nearly cheated on Alison. I can't warm to her despite really liking her for a few episodes. I am not rooting for her or noah at all. And Helen is irritating me with her saintly pouty face. Brilliant acting all round.

I have. Not sure where the UK is up to so am saying nothing. Other than that I think it's getting better. There was a while I was really confused by the back & forth & couldn't figure out exactly who had been killed.

Stopped watching it then tried again & watched a couple & am enjoying it more.

I wonder what the Americans think of DW & RW's accents.

Didn't realise 2 episodes were on last night! So annoying though-my Sky box ran out of space half way through the first one (so only Helen's story with gorgeous surgeon) and I can't download it again until Monday !! Not sure if I can wait until then to watch the second episode !

Is it two showings next week too-as in season finale !? I will miss this when it was gone-I loved that there wasn't much time between series too.

Really good episodes. Cynthia Nixon in therapy with Noah (Alison hadn't turned up): fab. He's very convincing in portraying someone so self absorbed / sex driven that even a horrible incident (won't say what as other mightn't have seen it yet) doesn't put him off flirting with sexy women!

Glad Helen has a hot new surgeon boyfriend.

Still feel v sorry for Alison. Baby Joanie is very sweet - there's a scene with Alison in a rocking chair with the baby, sleeping, that made me all broody!

I'd guess that in season 3 Alison and Noah's relationship will break down and the lawyers will try to pin Scotty's death on Alison.

The party scene in the hot tub and the reveal was brilliant. Ok it was shocking/awful and everything else in between but I thought it was a great twist.

I do lose track of the timings and when is what happening.

This season is so much better than series1.

I banish DH and get myself settled with a large wine so I can totally focus on each episode.

Then dissect it the following day with a colleague who also watches it.
