Series 2 about to start in France, but all I can find about it being shown here is that it will be in the autumn. Does anyone know any more?

Meanwhile, series 1 is 4OD, it's obviously my duty to watch it to remind myself of the background.

I thought the stag might have been Serge winewolf as he did have form for killing and eating bits of animals as well as people

Audrey's parents were the ones who hung themselves in the last series weren't they?

What's with the creepy ones outside the house where Camille and her mum are? What makes the hoard so different from the first ones and now the newer ones that are returning?

Argh so many questions and not liking watching it on tv rather than bingeing on Netflix. All the adverts and now having to wait a week.

tilliebob · 16/10/2015 22:20

Argh I just wanted all the answers NOW!! EnvyNow I have to wait another bloody week for the next part!

but but but but...I need to know everything NOW

MrsFring · 16/10/2015 22:25

Wow, Victor is the most ethereally beautiful child I've ever seen. I'm convinced that he is the key to the whole thing.

winewolfhowls · 16/10/2015 22:29

Ah custard I hadn't realised audreys parents were the ones that hanged themselves, you've got a good memory!

Moln · 16/10/2015 22:35

Well I think I can confidently state that I actually don't remember series 1. Despite thinking I did.

custardcreamdreams · 16/10/2015 22:36

No I was wondering if it was and now I think I'm wrong winewolf. My memory is terrible Grin Was Audrey's mum the dark, curly haired one? The one that Camille and her mum meet in the clothes store when she introduces herself as Alice, the cousin to Lena. Should really go back and rewatch

I also noticed Camille no longer has that thing on her face, the skin that looked like they were started to decay or something.

I agree MrsFring, I think Victor the key. He was the one standing in the road when the bus went over. Creepy 'helping hands' guy must have something major to do with it too. He was the accomplice when Victor was murdered and even from the start seemed like he knew more than he was letting on.

MrsFring · 16/10/2015 22:45

How odd that Victor didn't respond to his mother but just looked meaningfully at Juliet.

I can't imagine Swann Nambotin doing little boy things like Play Station or picking his nose; I wonder if he actually just stands around in the half- light smiling enigmatically.

Moln · 16/10/2015 23:05

Victor is so creepy (meant to - I hope!!)

He looks like a friend of my Ds1's, since watching The Returned I've always eyed the friend with deep suspicion.

BitOfFun · 16/10/2015 23:07

I loved it. Phew.

Hey, it's devilishly hard to remember what happened- I had no idea my memory for two years ago would be so awful.

RattusRattus · 16/10/2015 23:08

Who / what was eating the carcass when the girl was lost in the wood?

gaggiagirl · 16/10/2015 23:08

Camilles dad got beardy didn't he? Very hipster.

Rollergirl1 · 16/10/2015 23:10

Remember that Victor is also able to make people see and do things. Julie had a vision/hallucination of serge stabbing her again in the foyer of her apartment and instead it was Victor. He was also involved in Julie's neighbour killing herself. He gave Adele's daughter the vision of her mum with her wrists slit and then he gave Toni the gun that he killed himself with. There is deffo something not right about Victor.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 16/10/2015 23:12

Weren't the couple who hanged themselves the parents of a boy called Estoban?

Moln · 16/10/2015 23:16

I'm going to have to watch series 1 before next week aren't I?

Is it on Netflix?

custardcreamdreams · 16/10/2015 23:21

Yes I think you're right Seek. It was definitely a boy now I think more about it.

Rollergirl1 · 16/10/2015 23:38

I rewatched series one on all4 (4od) in the last 2 weeks so probably still available...

Audrey's mum was the woman that helped at The Helping Hand that got pregnant again and lost the baby during the ceremony of the couple that hanged themselves. And yes she was the one that bumped in to Camille and her mum while shopping.

There is one major thing that still bugs me from series one that was never explained and that is the thing on Lena's back. It was almost like she was decaying like the others were but then it just got better (once serge rubbed some stuff on it) and it was never mentioned again.

LilaTheTiger · 17/10/2015 13:12

Thank you rollergirl

I'm going to watch series 1 again with DP, as he hasn't seen it. It was my guilty 'with wine' pleasure before we lived together. My memory is clearly shot to bits, I blame the wine ?? Blush

AttitcusFinchIsMyFather · 17/10/2015 19:53

No Audreys parents did not hang themselves, it was Estabans parents who did after Camille passed on a fake message from him. Audreys parents were the ones who were pregnant again then lost it.

LizzieMacQueen · 17/10/2015 22:28

Was that Lucy kissing Simon at the end?

The actor playing the new investigator was the baddie in the last French subtitled mystery thing I watched....can't recall the name but I think the actor playing Toni was in it too.

Qwertybynature · 17/10/2015 22:46

Lizzie was it Witnesses? I thought he looked really familiar but couldn't place him, I think he played Kaz Gorbier.

I thought they'd do a brief recap at the start of season two as it took me the whole episode to place everyone. YY, definitely think Victor is the key figure in all of this. And the Vicar.

Lemonfizzypop · 17/10/2015 22:51

So Simon is a zombie loverat!

LizzieMacQueen · 17/10/2015 22:56

Thanks, yes that sounds right, Kaz Gorbier, the one with the painted white face.

Moln · 18/10/2015 07:12

Watch episode 1, series 1 last night.

Had pretty much forgotten most of it, including the murder and the fire.

Watching episode 2 now as no on else is awake in the house yet (well not now now. Can't loon at MN and watch at same time!! Should learn French!!)

Moln · 18/10/2015 07:34

I'd also forgotten Lena and Camille were twins.

There's no hope for me. None.

Lemonfizzypop · 18/10/2015 10:10

I had to pause it and Google a series one summary. Even after reading that I'm a bit hazy.
