Series 2 about to start in France, but all I can find about it being shown here is that it will be in the autumn. Does anyone know any more?

Meanwhile, series 1 is 4OD, it's obviously my duty to watch it to remind myself of the background.

Great idea about the water

winewolfhowls · 30/10/2015 21:42

I find the dam investigator to be just a little bit hot

tilliebob · 30/10/2015 21:46

You're not wrong winewolf Grin

Rollergirl1 · 30/10/2015 22:00

Am actually starting to get a bit frustrated with it. It's all over the place! I have no idea what's going on!

Rollergirl1 · 30/10/2015 22:02

Was that Lucy tied up and dead??!

winewolfhowls · 30/10/2015 22:04

I think so

tilliebob · 30/10/2015 22:08

So Lucy was already returned when we first met her doing her talking to the dead whilst shagging routine in series 1? No wonder Serge didn't kill her in the tunnel then!

This Milan bloke gives me the willies as we say around here

winewolfhowls · 30/10/2015 22:15

I wonder who dam man is looking for?

custardcreamdreams · 30/10/2015 22:23

The main thing I took away from that tonight was how gooey I went over the baby, he was too cute.

TheOrchardKeeper · 30/10/2015 22:38

I genuinely feel like Milan is the scariest thing to come out of both series so far. Holy hell.

Lena better return. It was weirdly sweet that serge the murderer tried to spare her.

TheSecondOfHerName · 30/10/2015 22:40

Serge is a psychopath, and if even he is scared of Milan..

Rollergirl1 · 30/10/2015 22:42

Yes Milan is the stuff of nightmares! He rivals Bob in Twin Peaks for scariness!

TheSecondOfHerName · 30/10/2015 22:45

I'm also a bit thrown by the fact that the investigator (Berg?) is played by the same actor who played the serial murderer in Witnesses.

Rollergirl1 · 30/10/2015 22:45

When did Milan die? Do you think maybe serge was killing the girls because his dad was making him?

TheOrchardKeeper · 30/10/2015 22:49

I think that's what makes serge scarier in a way. We meet serge who is a full blown cannibal/murderer and then Milan turns up and he's quaking in his hunting boots!

Also, anyone else feel awful for Julie? The baby revelation. I have a theory that Mrs Costa was lying and knows she'll die if she leaves but she needs to die to be returned to save Victor from his creepy returned family. Victor knows too because of his ability so said the horrible baby comment to spur her to leave/go to her death?

Probably a total long shot Grin but it all seemed odd, and like he was pushing her away on purpose but then looked up when she'd left.

boldlygoingsomewhere · 31/10/2015 07:09

I'm wondering how Milan died... He is very scary!

Helping Hand guy is the one who was involved in the murders at young Victor's house. He tried to spare Victor if I remember correctly but his accomplice killed him anyway. I think he knows much more than he is letting on and I wonder if he killed Milan due to an attack of conscience.

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/10/2015 13:03

Found thus explaining episodes

Might help

guardians guide to the returned

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/10/2015 13:56

Not sure why you all think Milan is scary? Or is it as he intimidates and scares his son serge and lucy

I thought Milan got shot by peirre as he was going to shoot victors dad again and kill him so peirre shoots him

Or if not Milan who is the other masked man? Can't be mr Costa as he wasn't dead 35yrs ago

If you scroll down on my link there's a recap of all episodes

Just about to watch last nights - so sure I will be back with more questions and mutter to myself if no one replies Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/10/2015 17:38

Ok I get why Milan is a tad scary. Seems he urged serge to kill / maybe he killed people in the past - hence why lucy was scared of him as he killed her 35yrs ago

Legs went funny when Trapping serges fingers in vice - tho if dead surely can't feel pain so why did he worry

Poor Lena tho if serge carried her through the forest to the 'dead side' why don't camille victor etc go that way back home rather then trying to cross the water?

The zomblies returned are in limbo as no one wanted them to return or grieved them unlike all the others

Police on the tree. 21 and one missing. Will that be the head policeman who was with Adele - can't rem his name or Julie's partner?

And my mistake peirre didn't shoot Milan as wasn't in the car - so was it me Costa he shot?

Qwertybynature · 31/10/2015 18:37

Thanks for posting that Blondshavemorefun nice to see the journalists are just as confused as everyone else Grin

Moln · 31/10/2015 22:30

I've just watch. I've two things that I can categorically state as something I know;

  1. Despite him being a psychopathic serial murder who likes to eat humans, I quite fancy Serge.
  2. the Dead Side of Town have really nice bed linen.

That's all I understand, and possibly one of those is a bit wrong, what with finding a someone who has the potential to kill and eat me attractive.

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/10/2015 23:24

How do the dead side survive with food? Esp as they are always hungry

Do they get supplies from the alive side? Tho surely if they knew they were all over there then Pierre etc would go and get them

Amazed no one alive has swam over the water to see what is the other side - isn't that obvious? Hmm

TheOrchardKeeper · 01/11/2015 12:25

Me too Moln. It's confusing. I also found Hannibal weird to watch for the same reason. Can't they make their bad guys really 'orrible to look at too? It would make things for less conflicted viewing Grin

MrsFring · 01/11/2015 17:43

If we're brazenly fancying zombies now then I claim first dibs on Simon.

Moln · 01/11/2015 17:58

Ok MrsFring, just as long as you don't go on about how yours doesn't eat your liver.
