ChiefClerkDrumknott · 15/06/2015 21:13

Well I'm glad the end of the world is working out well for someone

Ah Jon Sad

ChiefClerkDrumknott · 15/06/2015 21:18

There is not going to be a siege Stannis because FUCK YOU, that's why!

He did have the most legitimate claim to the throne, though

One of my American friends had 'oh no Jon Snow as their status last night. And I thought no it can't be that. Wrong!

DragonWithAGirlTattoo · 15/06/2015 21:27

Cersei was amazing - it went on a bit, and i was gagging for the other chars/places to appear...

but WHY!! do people hang on to the 'one true king' etc - the rightful sodding king is the one on the sodding throne!!

Trills · 15/06/2015 21:41

If there was a long line of inherited kings that'd be one thing, but Robert took the throne by force.

WestleyAndButtockUp · 15/06/2015 21:49

Lena's acting really shows up the stilted nature of the Danerys actress

gingercat12 · 15/06/2015 21:51

It is just by rights, Stannis was next in line. However I have a soft spot for book Tommen, Ser Pounce, Boots and Lady Whiskers, so I do not mean for them to die either. Bit conflicted there.

gingercat12 · 15/06/2015 21:58

TheAwfulDaughter Bronn did not seem to think that killing kids would outrage sellswords, so I would go with the cold and lack of food. All these desertions seemed weird though, as they are in the middle of a winter, no food, no shelter, no knowledge of the landscape, so they would have been better off staying and taking Winterfell. They were only about a mile from it by the looks of it anyway.

Stannis: Let's march on Winterfell. Oh, we are already there.

Cersei's face and acting were amazing. I wonder if she came to the realisation as in the books, that Jaime is the one person who truly loves him and does not care about her stretchmarks or anything. Also with his reckless attitude what will Jaime do when he realises what happened to his sister-wife (that is really the way he sees her)?!

TheFirstOfHerName · 15/06/2015 21:59

I'm sure Hackney & Leyton are worth discussing but this probably isn't the thread. Grin And also I'm not enough of a hipster.

TheFirstOfHerName · 15/06/2015 22:03

The newest member of the Kingsguard is the Frankenmountain

That makes sense to me as creepy cadaver-maester has been working on that project for a while.

SlightlyJadedJack · 15/06/2015 22:07

What the actual fuck just happened?! Shock

SlightlyJadedJack · 15/06/2015 22:09

I'd been carefully avoiding spoilers for tonight so had no clue. Sad

NickiFury · 15/06/2015 22:50

Bollocks isn't it? I've felt down about it all day. Fuck you GRRM.

Poor Jon.
Couldn't believe how brutal the Arya stabbing scene was.

abearcalledpaddington · 15/06/2015 23:37

I've read somewhere that Melisandre will bring back Jon snow. I hope she does, it wont be the same without him!

I felt sorry for Cersei for the first time ever, i hope she does get to kill that faith woman.

WHat was going on with Daenerys at the end!?

yumyumpoppycat · 15/06/2015 23:37

This will probably be Jon Snurr's way out of the Knight's Watch....he was too loyal and proud to leave when offered the chance by Stannis...obvs now they have all stabbed him in the chest back he can leave with a clear conscience?

NickiFury · 15/06/2015 23:38

Oh that nun woman who kept slapping Cersai would the FIRST for the chop. She made me so Angry.

yumyumpoppycat · 15/06/2015 23:38

Night's watch (?) rather.

abearcalledpaddington · 15/06/2015 23:40

Lena Headey wins the prize, horrible scene though. Danearys bits were quite weak and confusing (although I've read the books so it seemed odd that Tyrion was in Mereen). I love Stannis, thought he was so well acted.
