Oh and the wall. Plus from the trailer Tyrion and co moping a bit in Mereen and Dany ending up somewhere strange as the promo says she's amongst strangersbut not much else on her ..

Looked at trailer again - definitely some Bravos. Going to be a loaded episode but surely mainly Winterfell, the wall and Cersei.

FiftyShadesOfSporn · 08/06/2015 17:43

Bet Davos regrets saving Gendry now. He luffed Shireen.

Narvinectralonum · 08/06/2015 17:45

Dorne and Bravos are both in the trailer.

whatevermaycome · 08/06/2015 17:58

Hadn't thought about Davos/ Gendry re Shireen Shock

I saw the trailer, but what excites is what is not in it. Obviously Grin

Also how will they explain Jaime not helping Cersei? Doran intercepted the letters? And how would Cersei try to contact him, when Jaime is on an undercover mission? Am I overthinking this?

In the trailer they used Jaime's words to Brienne a few seasons ago... "You can't help who you love." I suppose that is a reference to Renly.

Will there be a Kevan-moment, but perhaps with an other Lannister, as Kevan is not exactly high profile in the show? Or would that be too much for one episode?

honeyroar · 08/06/2015 18:48

Good idea OP. We should have had a thread per episode in the first place.

herfrom2doorsdown · 08/06/2015 19:16

I haven't seen episode 9 either but I've already seen spoilers so I'm place marking here too Smile

LizardBreath · 08/06/2015 20:44

The end made me cry! It was a bit unexpected as I hadn't thought I was that big a fan of Dany.

There was a lot of shouting from me during this episode. I enjoyed it, but wouldn't re-watch 'that' part again..

honeyroar · 08/06/2015 21:06

Hooray it's 9pm. Enjoy your viewing peeps!

PuckyMup · 08/06/2015 21:08

You know its bad when Roose Bolton looks like a good candidate for father of the year..

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 08/06/2015 21:26

Noooo! Well, that's Stannis crossed off the list of Iron Throne contenders. I hope Davos kills the fucker. Although bloody Davos knew perfectly well what was about to happen and he still left without her. Fucking Selyse as well. Have I sworn enough yet?

whatevermaycome · 08/06/2015 21:44

Best post on the original thread 'F'ing Stannis' .. exactly

Really?! I didn't get that impression?

TheFirstOfHerName · 09/06/2015 22:20

Just watched it, 24h after most of the UK. I loved this episode. I had seen Stannis' choice approaching for a while. Meryn Trant in Bravos is a test for Arya and how much she has really put her past behind her.

Marisola · 10/06/2015 11:11

Can't see why the fuss about discussing the show before Monday evening. It's available on catch-up from the early hours, so lots of people have the opportunity to watch it before the evening, at a time of their choice. If you're not watching till the evening and don't want spoilers, don't open the thread. What am I missing?

whatevermaycome · 10/06/2015 18:38

Completely agree but there were a few predictable spoiler comments and I'd had enough. Clearly some people don't have the self discipline not to click on a thread if they haven't actually watched it. Rolls eyes.

OP posts:
maggiso · 11/06/2015 19:59

I don't think Davos knew exactly what was going to happen, but he guessed he was being got out of the way - because his advice on whatever Stannis was planning would be unwelcome.
I think next week will show Sansa escaping from Winterfell possibly aided by Theon or Brienne. I don't think we will see Bran, till next season. I suspect we will see Arya (as Arya not no one), but it may be left as a cliff hanger on what she will do next. What has happened to Littlefinger and also Rickon?

PuckyMup · 11/06/2015 21:00

Where is Gendry?!

TheFirstOfHerName · 11/06/2015 21:13

Where is Gendry?!

Rowing. Either very slowly, or a very long way.

Zakken · 14/06/2015 22:04

Just bringing this back up.

ChiefClerkDrumknott · 15/06/2015 02:08

All going tits up for Stannis - Good!

ChiefClerkDrumknott · 15/06/2015 02:25

And suddenly Arya becomes interesting, in an O-Ren Ishii kind of way

ChiefClerkDrumknott · 15/06/2015 02:29

Aaaaand I don't care about her again
