I'm sitting reading through the thread and it has just struck me. I'll be MISSING Eurovision. First time in years. We're going out and won't be home until midnight. Boo Hoo.

*But ballad or not, Monika is a winner regardless for being able to come back from her car accident nine years ago. She was only 26 when a crash left her in a wheelchair and she was in a very successful band at the time.

I am very excited about this- although for the first time in 2 years, I am actually drinking. So it does mean there is the possibility of me falling asleep before the results

Right- I have got dd2 to point at a country on the list on the website.

I have Iceland. I don't remember Iceland. Her name is Maria Olafs- which prompted dd2 (4) to start singing 'Do you want to build a snowman'. I am now hoping for an Icelandic version of said song.

I didn't enter the Eurovision draw either- massive oversight on my part & I'm at those who did.

Not going out tonight-staying in is so much better when Euro stuff is on!
