Grin Anyone else counting down the days! I actually get nervous thinking about it. I have re watched all series and reading the books to pass the time.

Can't wait to see what they do with Sansa and Tyrion this series. And will we see the hound again and lady stone heart?

Yeah didn't he flay her fingers then starve her to death? Ramsay was evil to his wife in the books so no reason why he would be decent to Sansa. She's just a means to an end, once he's married to her she's pretty irrelevant - even the need for an heir isn't that important once he's married and legitimately has winterfell, he can dispose of Sansa and get a new wife if he feels like it

yumyumpoppycat · 02/05/2015 14:19

I have been reading about his character in the books and tv on wika and apparently he represents a grotesque foil to jon snow. Ramsay's previous marriage doesn't seem to have been mentioned on tv from what I can see on Wika but we have seen enough of his evilness not to expect good things for sansa...

yumyumpoppycat · 02/05/2015 14:22

I do think as someone else mentioned that anything horrid that happens to sansa will have to be in a way that isn't obvious when she is out in public, I don't think she would be just gotten rid of as she has a strong symbolic meaning for the north, this is certainly the case with the arya substitute in the books. I don't think being married will stop Roose from pursuing whatever he wishes as 'sport' so he doesn't need to get married for love.

yumyumpoppycat · 02/05/2015 14:52

Oh sorry I forgot the main thing I was trying to find out! As Ramsay on the tv show was not married before, and as he was an ignored bastard for many years Baelish/Littlefinger may not know the full horror that is Ramsay although he knew enough that a guarantee of her safety was needed.

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 02/05/2015 14:56

I still don't think Sansa will have the same storyline as the fake arya in the books though as she's too much of a main character. I reckon she will be rescued quite quickly.

IvoryMadonna · 02/05/2015 15:09

There's bound to be some unpleasantness with Ramsay's psycho girlfriend, but who knows which way that will go.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 02/05/2015 15:15

I'm hoping they decide to show her in a strong light compared to how she dealt with Joffrey. They're obviously putting her through a transition, so maybe it will show her able to outsmart him and the psycho girlfriend. The actress who plays Sansa said she had to film some traumatic scenes this series so I am not holding my breath...I just hope it's not too brutal.

yumyumpoppycat · 02/05/2015 15:29

Saga I think it would be great if sansa's character could grow stronger in a more positive way, bit less dark than arya.

Ehric, tell that to rob and eddard stark...Dragon

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 02/05/2015 19:05

Oh I know - no character is safe - but switching Sansa really is a departure and I just don't think the original story would work. We'll see though!

CoolCadbury · 02/05/2015 20:01

erhic I really hope that she is not rescued this time, I hope she stands and "fights" for herself this time. I also agree that fArya story would not work with Sansa's. Although I am concerned about the traumatic scenes - hope it doesn't involve Ramsey and Myranda's sadistic ways.

Love your name saga Smile

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 02/05/2015 23:49

limitedperiodonly · 04/05/2015 20:05

Anyway I can't wait to discuss the episode but will.

There's a bit of a Life of Brian moment in it.

Cooroo · 04/05/2015 20:25

Must have missed that limitedperiod - look forward to hearing about it after 10!

Trills · 04/05/2015 21:13

Not the Messiah, a very naughty boy?

Or People's Front of Judea?

Or "We're all individuals" - "I'm not!"

Trills · 04/05/2015 21:13

I am scared. Melisande is going to hurt Shireen.

Trills · 04/05/2015 21:17

Melisandre with an R, sorry. Keep getting confused with a similarly named character in another book (not confused re character, just in spelling)

BelfastBloke · 04/05/2015 21:27

I am scared. Melisandre is going to hurt Jon Snow.

limitedperiodonly · 04/05/2015 21:45

Bronn is wearing far too much make up

limitedperiodonly · 04/05/2015 21:50

I wondered at that moment if Shireen might be a player for the game trills

IvoryMadonna · 04/05/2015 21:59

I'm more worried that Shireen's nutjob of a mother will burn herself and Shireen.

limitedperiodonly · 04/05/2015 21:59
.

Actually, the scene afterwards where they all kill each other.

So Ser Baristan is dead then? Sniff.

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 04/05/2015 22:00
