On MrsPeabody's advice I've started a new one.

True. I noticed the clean shirt as did several others. Rookie mistake. Especially seeing as Rick looked like he'd been skip-diving at the back of an abattoir when he turned up at Deanna's.

hahaha, very apt description. Maybe they used up all that week's fake entrails on Rick so had none spare for cowardly Rev. But you would think he would get even a wee bit smudged.

Imsosorryalan · 04/04/2015 20:41

Not just clean, but remarkably increased too. Not Evan a bit on his hands!

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/04/2015 22:53

Yep we all noticed the white spotless shirt !!!!

So what can we watch on Monday - no broadchurch - twd - missing -

We need a new series to watch and talk about

PurpleDancingTurtle · 05/04/2015 07:08

Only just caught up with the last episode. Thought it was interesting that they has 3 of the group all with the opportunity to kill someone who quite frankly deserved it but Glenn and Sasha didn't shoot, and Rick did. I wonder if next series they will think that Rick did the right thing and all get a bit more ruthless or will he realise he's changed. I really hoped the walkers would have found the meeting and killed a few of the residents before Rick came and saved the day, that would have really made his point. Can't believe we have to wait til October Angry

MrTumbleForPM · 05/04/2015 19:13

I know I'm exceedingly late to this party, but did anyone else notice what looked like mattresses attached to the inside of the trucks when the Wolves did threw their zombie disco? That may have been why Daryl & Aaron didn't hear the zombies inside.
Plus have just started re-watching season 1. The walkers were more 'runners' there in Atlanta. They were climbing up over the fence chasing Glenn and Rick out of the department store.

We're split in our house whether that's a continuity error, enthusiastic extras or zomblies who are not too decomposed to warrant shuffling!

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 05/04/2015 21:04

In the episode where they were stuck inside the department store, just after Glenn saved Rick from the tank, the walkers were pushing on the glass door and one of them had a rock on his hands that he used to hit the glass with. I've never seen one before or since on TWD that had such fine motor skills. Confused

Somebody said before on here that the writer had explained the general zombies have been getting older and more decomposed and so are slower?
So I suppose the newly dead are more of a threat.

During the adverts Fox was trailering a new series called something Pines which I thought looked good, did anyone else clock that who remembers the full name so I can search for it?

GoldfishCrackers · 06/04/2015 10:17

I just rewatched the Fr Gabriel White shirt scene. The way he killed the zombie (facing away from him), I guess it's just about possible not to get splattered. But it's a real stretch.

I think it's more of a comment on Fr Gabriel's self-awareness, and a comparison between him and Rick. How Gabriel has done terrible, self-serving things but has projected all his blame onto other people (telling Deana they were the evil guys), and Rick, OTOH, (who got zombie-juice IN HIS MOUTH) takes responsibility for the iffy stuff he has to do. If Fr Gabriel is starting to face up to his actions, I expect to see him lose the Daz advert shirt.

I just lie back and enjoy TWD. There are so many WTF? moments. There was one where The Governor was chasing Andrea (I think?) through an abandoned factory and she seemed doomed but then managed to dodge a herd of walkers and shut herself behind a door leading to a stairwell to freedom and at the same time unleash the walkers on The Governor. And yet he still managed to fight them off in an unseen scene.

And there was the long sequence where Andrea was tied to a chair with The Governor's erstwhile sidekick bleeding to death and obviously going to take her as his first snack once he re-animated.

He was desperately trying to stay alive to give her time to free herself but she kept stopping trying to fray the ropes to witter about life and friendship to him. I'm glad he turned and bit her because otherwise, what kind of lesson in priorities would that teach our young people?

And there was the prison sequence where people died of the plague/flu/whatever and Hershel limped off to get a squeaky trolley and then limped back with it and slowly hefted the body on and then reverentially covered their face with a sheet and then paused and said a little prayer and then ever-so-slowly limped with them to the exit. Arggh!

and HOW is that Rev guy still alive. he is monumentLly stupid.

Stealthpolarbear · 06/04/2015 22:34

DontOpenDeadInside · 07/04/2015 19:02

Not sure if we've discussed this yet, but has anyone seen ZNation? I watched it on US netflix, its a bit of a comedy. If you perservere past the 1st episode, it gets better.

50shadesofknackered · 09/04/2015 19:18

Does anyone remember in the first episode when Rick rode into Atlanta on a horse (stupid) and they focused in the zomblie in the burnt out bus and then focused on the same one I think when Rick was shooting from the top of the tank. I've always wondered why the significance of that particular zomblie was. He seemed more intelligent than the rest, did I completely miss something? I bet nobody remembers it anyway, it was so long ago.
Also, I had an interesting discussion with dh the other day about alternate dimensions. Apparently there are theoretically an infinite number of universe' /dimensions and I very intelligently surmised that if that is the case then in at least one of them a zomblie apocalypse must be happening or have happened right now Shock I was v impressed with myself, dh not so much he just gave me this look Confused then this one Hmm

Aridane · 09/04/2015 20:50

DontOpenDeadInside - love the name, though wasn't over enamoured with Z nation -'though of course have watched every single episode Confused.

Do quite like the comedy / crime / chick flick series iZombie though (I know).

And have watched the movie The Walking Deceased - which is an affectionate spoof of The Walking Dead. The guy who plays Rick has got the voice to a T - including how he says Coral and that Shane like whisper. And their Daryl, Merle (remember Merle?) and Coral are quite good. It's a spoor more on the first two series, up to Herschel and the farm. Although it alludes to Terminus.

I think I need to get a ( non zomblie ) life...

ApocalypseNowt · 10/04/2015 19:29

I think they're reshowing TWD from the first series. I'm going to rewatch cos i'm sure there's loads of stuff i missed first time round and i need to perv on daryl
