On MrsPeabody's advice I've started a new one.

Why did they have the meeting in someone's - Deanna and the unfortunate Reg's? - back garden rather than in a house?

Why was there no wine and nibbles? At the risk of being thought entitled on MN, I would definitely expected some warm Pinot Grigio and crisps if invited round to a friend's. And I thought that at least Carol would have made something to keep her persona going.

It got dark really quickly as well. It was daylight when Rick discovered the open gate, yet full dark when he was battling the zomblies.

Why didn't he run straight there shouting: 'Who's left the gate unlocked, you stupid fuckers'?

Is there no hall they can have a meeting in?

I thought Rick should have sounded the alarm. I mean the walkers could have been anywhere.

I also think he will bring back some sensiblity to the group! He's got some good skills. I was also pleased when michonne put her sword back on! I literally whooped with joy. The wolves scare me though. They seem like they enjoy killing, which is,something I've never really understood. With the zombie apocalypse you'd think everyone would be glad when they met other non zombie folk!?

Well it's two years(ish) into the apocalypse so civilisation is very much a thing of the past.

Kill or be killed. Limited supplies, anyone weaker than you will have a high potential to hinder your own survival if you "teamed up"

Yes I wondered why Rick didn't warn anyone that potentially a group of walkers could have been wandering around. That could have been a herd for all he knew.

Also, just watched talking dead and was reminded of this. Why don't they dress up as walkers more, like carol did. That way, they can get supplies etc and sail past zombies undetected by smearing zombie juice all over themselves. Saves on the hassle of trying to waste energy, killing them all..

Imsosorry, I have wondered that a few times recently. It was a good tactic.

Do you think that the characters in TWD ever watched zombie movies prior to all this happening?

It always annoys me that the characters don't spend much time studying the zombies and learning smarter ways to deal with them.

After the wolf's zombie rave trick, DH was asking why the Alexandrians use their digger to dig a big hole and put a loud boombox in it. Let it fill up with zombies and then squirt them with petrol and burn them. Or just shoot them. Or the zombie guts costume and Michonne's pet zombie disguises.

Why aren't they learning?

They do seem to have selective memory as to these things, they could use michonnes idea to de tooth them and have them tied up around whatever place they are in.

They had those pits with the wind chime that that the Governers lot created as well so its not like they haven't seen it before.

But WHY didn't they realise it was a trap when Darly and the other one were sniffing round the trailers? Did they not see the spooky cans on a string? And why couldn't they hear all the zombies shuffling and moaning inside? Did they really think there would just be a trailer full of canned goods?
