Oh FGS. I will leave you all to it.

PeaceOfWildThings · 04/03/2015 20:18

I don't know either, Eve!

EveDallas · 04/03/2015 20:18

I like Moyles too Sparks... Smile

SwedishEdith · 04/03/2015 20:18

Chris Moyles looks like Shaun Keaveney sans beard, SK will love that Grin

Kayvan = handome, very, very handsome.

Oceanpurple1 · 04/03/2015 20:19

he's an 'acquired taste'... like Kayvan's brownies.
Made some brownies today. Ate 4.

PeaceOfWildThings · 04/03/2015 20:19

Oh, come on Sparkling!

Promise no more bitching from me.

EveDallas · 04/03/2015 20:20

Apparently he's most famous for Fonejaker. Nope. That doesn't help at all.

thatstoast · 04/03/2015 20:21

His mum made his jam? That's cheating surely!

SoupDragon · 04/03/2015 20:21

Are we not allowed to express an opinion about a contestant then? Confused

EveDallas · 04/03/2015 20:22

Oh God, I didn't see all the posts before my first one. Sorry. Didn't realise you'd already had the Kayvan conversation.

Oceanpurple1 · 04/03/2015 20:25

Do you really need a proving draw? Confused

OP posts:
PeaceOfWildThings · 04/03/2015 20:26

A proving drawer? Is that what that funny storage in my kitchen is!?

HaveYouSeenHerLately · 04/03/2015 20:26

This episode needs Mel and Sue or Jo Brand.
It's a bit flat Confused

DonkeysYears · 04/03/2015 20:27

Love Victoria Wood's hair tonight!

DonkeysYears · 04/03/2015 20:28

That Kavyan loves himself a bit!

growinggoldwithcustard · 04/03/2015 20:28

No never needed one in 50+ years of baking and it wasn't on the plans for my new kitchen last year either Grin

thatstoast · 04/03/2015 20:29

Turns out proving/warming drawers aren't cheap. I'm surprised my inlaws don't have one. MIL spends a lot of time warming up plates.

Oceanpurple1 · 04/03/2015 20:32

Ah, right growinggold... I mainly bake a lot of cakes... haven't ventured into bread/anything that must be 'proved' as of yet

Agree that the show is flat - Byrne doesn't really saw much

OP posts:
growinggoldwithcustard · 04/03/2015 20:34

should have said that I have 50+ years of baking under my belt but still turn out flat as pancake Victoria sponges and bread you could use as bricks.

Oceanpurple1 · 04/03/2015 20:35

Paul has his serious face on.

The man's PTSD experience sounds bloody heartbreaking. Have never known anyone who has suffered from it ... but what a truly awful thing..

OP posts:
thatstoast · 04/03/2015 20:35

I've just realised I paused at the beginning and I'm 3 minutes behind everyone.

Optimist1 · 04/03/2015 20:36

Miaow, Alexa! Anyone else hear her little anti-Victoria rant?

Oceanpurple1 · 04/03/2015 20:38

I think she was just being sarcastic. Wasn't she? I'm not sure now haha.

OP posts:
HaveYouSeenHerLately · 04/03/2015 20:39

It's weird not having someone (other than Berry and Hollywood) wandering round interviewing and 'helping' Grin

Anyone know why M&S couldn't commit to four programmes?

Disappointing that they did the first two (?) then disappeared. I thought they'd be back this week Sad

Anyone know when the main bake off series returns?

MrsRonBurgundy · 04/03/2015 20:42

I'm developing a bit of a girl crush on Alexa Chung - so pretty
