I thought it touched the heating element?

Pancakeflipper · 25/02/2015 20:50

I love Sarah.

Did I see a fly being mixed into her cream?

JuneFromBethesda · 25/02/2015 20:51

Sarah Brown seems lovely too, although in an entirely different way Grin She's a very classy lady.

Oceanpurple1 · 25/02/2015 20:54

Oh yeah, that's probably why thatstoast!
Hope the fly thing is true. Paul could've eaten it.

growinggoldwithcustard · 25/02/2015 20:54

Yeah he nailed it.

Oceanpurple1 · 25/02/2015 20:54

Think Sheen has got it?

Schoolaroundthecorner · 25/02/2015 20:54

Who's star baker so? Has Michael snagged it at the end?

Showy · 25/02/2015 20:55

at Michael. Not competitive at all.

Schoolaroundthecorner · 25/02/2015 20:55

Yup Michael I think.....

Oceanpurple1 · 25/02/2015 20:56

Sarah is so pissed. One day... one day... she will get her revenge on Paul for saying her pavlova was too coconutty.

growinggoldwithcustard · 25/02/2015 20:57

Happy sigh. Now off to fantasize about being Sarah Silverman for a day.

Oceanpurple1 · 25/02/2015 20:58

Kayvan Novak is on next week. But Chris Moyles. Ugh.

thatstoast · 25/02/2015 20:59

Michael Sheen did a great documentary thing about Chartists last night. Not sure if it was only on BBC Wales but should be on iplayer.

Oceanpurple1 · 25/02/2015 21:01

Until next week... I hope Mel factors in some tax related baking puns.

Oceanpurple1 · 25/02/2015 21:03

Will check the documentary out.
Totally forgot he was dating Sarah Silverman! She's fab.

Sparklingbrook · 25/02/2015 21:11

Aww Chris Moyles. I love him, but I know that's not allowed. Sad

susiella · 26/02/2015 10:35

I think Mary Berry has been 'encouraged' to remind the audience to bake stuff & sell it to raise funds for Comic Relief. If a 'celeb' bakes something vaguely tolerable she remarks it would be suitable for a bake sale.
It irks me that on programmes like this & Masterchef with 'celebs', the presenters are so much more forgiving when they cock up.

HoraceCope · 26/02/2015 10:54

but the celebs are not pretending to be bakers, I doubt they want their careers to go down the baking route.

ppeatfruit · 26/02/2015 13:06

Yes you're right HoraceCope They're doing it for charity, not self aggrandisement ,though of course that does occur when you're on telly.

I loved the one with Dame Edna in it ! The comedy is what it's all about IMO.

ppeatfruit · 26/02/2015 13:08

It's weird when I saw Sarah Brown I was thinking she was the veggie chef whose cookery book I own, it's only on here that I realised she's the ex P.M.'s wife (is she the same person?). Confused

HoraceCope · 26/02/2015 13:13

I am pretty sure Sarah brown is not a chef, her introduction was quite strange but did not mention that Grin

ArcheryAnnie · 26/02/2015 13:24

I am really enjoying it but DEAR GOD would some of them please put a hairnet on, or at least securely tie their hair back? None of these artful wisps falling forward, either. Hairs in food makes me heave.

ppeatfruit · 26/02/2015 13:26

Yes I noticed the slightly odd introduction too Grin

ppeatfruit · 26/02/2015 13:33

Pork pies make me heave actually !

Oceanpurple1 · 26/02/2015 15:07

ppeatfruit Dame Edna was hilarious - wish there was a thread for that ep. I liked the method of just not measuring shit. And reappearing with a smear of food colouring or butter on her face. Grin
