Just read the latest spo. Brilliant and so clever. Loved the comment on self-referencing and laughed out loud at CJ's comment about close up photos - my problem exactly! Could Morley and Beck end up marrying or is it just a wild fling? If they do marry, I can picture the ceremony: old Hollywood glamour I think. Beck channeling a bit of Marlene Dietrich maybe?

I am about ten pages behind on this thread so I am posting without having read what's been going on. I just thought I'd check in now in case time doesn't present itself before the 25th to say:

All this FF writing means that when I'm awake in the middle of the night with DS, (which is a lot right now as he's got a horrible cough) I have all sorts of MD/CJ stuff running round my head. This morning I got to indulge in some QS planning, which was nice, but not really the sort of thing that helps you drop off to sleep at 4am.

Oh cherin what have you started? This is my Christmas favourite every year and very appropriate for MN I think:

What if three Wise Men were women?
What would have happened if it had been three Wise Women instead of three Wise Men?
They would have asked directions,
arrived on time,
helped deliver the baby,
cleaned the stable,
made a casserole,
and brought practical gifts.

But what they would have said when they left...?

How does SPO do it. So funny, I love that he got the QS and all the references to the Bath scene. Just so funny. I am tempted to print out all the chapters and put them in a ring binder so I can keep reading.

I am going to meet old friends tonight, ladies only. I will fess up, they have no chance of knowing anything about OG but between iTunes, torrent (ahemm) and YouTube I can show them the basics. They'll understand. We've been through adolescence together, and a few of us are going through a second phase of it :-)))

Really enjoyed the latest Zombie Girl, SPO. I must learn not to read it at work, thank goodness I don't work anywhere open plan, there's only so many laughing fits you can cover up with coughing.

Ooh well done on Operation Card Delivery aspara. BA will report in tomorrow to be offered leading roles in Game of Thrones, James Bond, Strike Back etc and in amongst all the scripts on offer will be the Stag Card looking sweet and loving. Aaaah! He'll smile all sweetly and clutch it to his chest, silently thanking his lucky stars he has all these female admirers gagging for him wishing him a Happy Christmas...

I'm 100% by your side on that one elsie. Saving my QS fest til later when I'm up til 1a.m lusting, drooling, dreaming wrapping last minute presents.

Perhaps SPO can mingle in some QS in the next chapter, maybe along the lines of the wrestling match being planned between the various stars of Strike Back, GoT, Homeland etc. Please let it involve CJ though, SPO, not Major Beck & Morley

spo May I add my pleas for your spin on the wrestling that takes up far too much of mine and cjwoof's time in drooling obsessing over. It would be the icing on the zombie cake!! Actually maybe we need it to be Morley and Beck - it might be the only way to dampen our fervour.

I have to confess to a dream where CJ made an appearance and we kissed briefly. It unfortunately ended there! That is a very unusual thing for me - normally those sort of dreams only feature dh! Perhaps I shouldn't read the ff after all...

Watching Doris Day movie with MIL! No chance of OG. Thanks elsie for tip off re. QS FF, once DH home from work I will scuttle off to kitchen and have a read. Can't wait!!

There was a message on Facebook from Laurielove saying something like she would have something else soon (can't remember exactly but something about presents and Christmas!). Did notice that she went to see the hobbit the same day as orphan ... Something you need to tell us, orphan?!.

My two kids have even driving me to distraction most of the day, as soon as I leave them alone (like to bring them food, drinks, pop to the loo) they keep attacking each other .... Please can someone with older kids tell me that this gets better. (Even if it doesn't!!!). I need some r&r, so will be happily going to work tomorrow, DH can have them for the day.

And finally! Ditto to SPO coming back and joining us soon :)
