Strictly Come Dancing - too uncool?

I absolutely love this show and it just gets better every series. But I rarely admit to it in public and none of my friends watch it - they all watch X factor - which I love too but not as much. So would love to hear from anyone who loves it as much as me!

Health reasons - high blood pressure.

Personally I think this means that Spoony and Ola should get a second chance next week. They were already one couple down this week with Tarby and Flavia having to pull out, so unless they want a final with only two couples in, they need to re-jig it somehow. What better way than to undo this travesty of justice?

Btw, the health reasons were for Tarby, not Claire King looking like your gran

i am loving the show and watch the repeats on sunday's, we even have score cards made out and score them, that's after dancing round the lounge copying them (badly)

bbc2 at 7.00 tonight, just on for 1 hour, they cut out the bits where they show them in training

I often try and vote for people near the bottom but not at the bottom as they tend to get ignored, as proved last night! I VOTED FOR SPOONEY!

Peter's nose was fantastic (in the bizarre sense of the word!). Poor guy!

Just watched the re-run. Tess Daly needs to sack the stylist. Every single week the dress she wears is so unflattering.
Shame Spoony's gone- he looked gutted. Georgina's getting the sympathy vote because the judges are so horrible to her. I can't help but feel sorry for her.

Suspect Georgina is getting a 'soap vote ' as well.

Brendan is beginning to grow on me.....met more than his match.

Malory, I thought Tess looked pregnant too.

I admit I am sad, but I can hardly contain myself with excitement at the thought of Peter Schmeichel doing the Paso Doble this coming Saturday. I can't wait to see his red nose during training and his excellent facial expressions during the dance.

It's a good job Tess doesn't have to compete. You'd think by now she would have learnt to be a bit less completely wooden in the 5 second dance she does with Brucie.

haven't read thread apart from op, but i lov strictly come dancing and think the x factor is a pile of poo. x factor only successful due to marketing genius.

I love SCD much more than X factor. I cant stand the scripted pantomime rubbish between the x factor judges its tiresome.

Only started watching SCD this series but am totally addicted (plus I get to letch over Matt Dawson)

a question .... who thinks that somewhere along the line Tess Daly has seriously pissed off her stylist and she's now getting her own back . Every week her outfits get worse, shes like a man in drag

Yes Georgina was a lot better - but none of the women were outstanding imho. None of them have the elegance that Zoe Ball had last year
