I have a definite recollection of her looking at them and playing with the hair he had stuck in? Does anyone else remember or have I hallucinated this?!?!

She did those creepy drawings in the first part too.

I do seem to recall her drawing then and then looking in the journals.

They didn't arrest him because they wanted him to lead them to Rose.

The notebooks in the loft had the initials 'CB' on them. That's the babysitter's initials. Didn't she go up into the loft in series 1?

I think that was why he was so snarly with her at the end of the episode.

The babysitter's full name being something like Catarina Benedetti or something Italian or Spanish-sounding. She is called Katie for short.

No, she didn't guinea. The babysitter found the hair though.

I watched series one again and I'm pretty sure the only thing we know the daughter did was see her dad put something through the hatch

I thought she had found them in his rucksack? I have such a clear recollection!!!

Spa so who is PB then? Spector before he changed his name? If so CB is one of his family? The CB diaries/books looked quite old?

Was he not actually called Peter at one point before he changed his name to Paul?

Yes, I think his real name is/was Peter.

I think the new police officer (Tom ...?) is dodgy. Stella isn't interested in him because she fancies him but because she recognises him, or knows his name from his dodgy past, or senses that there's something up.

I think he might be one of the wife-beater's 'friends' in the Belfast mafia.

You know he keeps reciting the Peter Piper tongue-twister? Any brilliant thoughts on the significance?

I can't find any hidden meaning to the tongue twister, though in the course of some internet research have found that there's a real life Prof Peter Piper on the staff at Sheffield University ...! Definitely a MN Baby Names fail!

When they had his profile up at the police station I'm sure it said his name was Phillip Peter Spector, or Peter Phillip, not too sure

Did anyone notice what it was about the suitcase at the hospital that made him suspicious? I couldn't read the writing

So does Spector know that they know it's him?
He must do since he saw the hairdresser leaving.

And do they know whether he knows that they know?

He knows the leak must be because of the police doesn't he?

What will happen next? He's going to give them the slip surely!

The suitcase had the hairdressers name on.

Had he booked her?

Will he go after her?

He had recommended the hairdresser I think.

They had told him that they'd cancelled the hairdresser (which he'd arranged), yet he saw her leaving, so he must have figured out they know his Spector identity and that's why his victim was not in her room.

Did they tell him that they had phoned the hairdresser & cancelled her?

Was quite obvious that he would see her.

I mean would the police really bother themselves to cancel?

Couldn't remember if they said that they cancelled her, but of course they did, otherwise him seeing her there wouldn't have mattered.

He asked about the hairdresser when the policewoman told him that they had tried to get in touch with him to cancel his therapy appointment but they couldn't get through. I think she got a bit flustered and said they had cancelled the hairdresser as well.

I assumed he wanted a lock of her hair and that is why he booked the hairdresser. He wanted to be there when the hairdresser was there.
I assumed he would hunt the hairdresser down , to get the lock.

Aha! It was the hairdresser! Sorry, yes, Peter Paul, I'm getting all mixed up with Phil Spector now.....

I think his name before was Peter B..something beginning with B.
I didnt click who Deborah was i.e. the name on the bag! Of course... he booked her himself!
why would Katie put her notebooks in his loft ? as a red herring for the police? she even drew in the same style as him. but it wouldnt be his handwriting so what's the point?

of course... she 'just happened' to have the name Deborah on her trolley bag so he'd know it was who he'd booked for Annie!

Righto - I have avoided this thread as I have just watch ALL The Fall in the last 2 weeks....
Alltoomuch - I don't think they were Katie's notebooks, they were his but the Police missed them

Does anyone else think that Rose is still alive ?
