Overthinking
Park - just being careful not to be alone with said killer

youarekiddingme · 01/01/2015 22:32

It still makes me laugh that we are all guessing Lucy's killer - yet even the producers haven't decided yet have they? The cast certainly don't know!

306235388 · 01/01/2015 22:35

Yes re Charlie I said to dh I'd be unimpressed if I was giving birth in a burning car and he was in the pub splashing water on his face !!

okeydonkey · 01/01/2015 22:36

Yes over thinking.
Is it to be revealed in live show? That'll be a rubbish episode they can never get it together for that

306235388 · 01/01/2015 22:37

Oh hang on they haven't decided themselves yet??? Is that true because if so I'm stopping watching it!

RedTinsel · 01/01/2015 22:40

I thought it was because she didn't want to be alone.

I think I'm officially ruling out Max, if he'd just confessed to her in the park he wouldn't be acting perfectly normally back in the square.

ChuckNovice · 01/01/2015 22:45

They may know now I think, (the writers) but I don't think who dunnit knows until January... so maybe now.

RedTinsel · 01/01/2015 22:45

I think the producers know who it is. It's filmed 6 weeks in advance, so they're probably already filmed the before and after the live episode.

okeydonkey · 01/01/2015 22:46

I agree, not max.
Denise, abi, Lauren, or jay

Chipstick10 · 01/01/2015 22:48

It certainly shows that they are kind of making it up as they go along . It would be much more believable if they had already chosen Lucy's killer and had written and had the acters play it that way. It would have much more believability to it. Perhaps we could engage more , care more.

Rivercam · 01/01/2015 22:50

An exciting episode! I don't like the Nick Cotton storyline, and I'm fed up,with Phil beating people up - it suggests the way to solve problems is violence!

We were in hysterics at the beginning when every member of the cast were fired with a mobile telephone!

I can't believe it's a main character either who killed Lucy, as they wouldn't act normally for so long. Why would Emma return to the square after confronting the killer? Also, why didn't anyone rush over to help her after the crash. In fact, everyone was slow rushing to the car which must have been very noisy when it crashed. Also, when Alex rolled the car flat, I thought that would cause more harm to the inphabitants as it landed.

Also, why didn't they get Ronnie out of the car. They implied she was trapped, but there was no fire crew with specialist equipment cutting her out. I'm glad she survived though because I always like the Ronnie and Roxy scenes - as sisters they are quite believable, glad baby survived as well.

( I know it's not real!)

RedTinsel · 01/01/2015 22:51

When they did the same with live Archie episode, they scripted each of the characters confessing but didn't tell Stacey it was her till just before ep started. they interviewed Bradley straight after the ep finished and he asked the presenter who it was because he didn't know.

Fakebook · 01/01/2015 22:51

Brilliant episode! Was on the edge of my seat the whole way through. Very good filming/acting by everyone.

I'm really shocked at Denise's secret. What a stupid cow. Poor Patrick. Really do not like the woman now. I have no sympathy whatsoever.

I don't think the killer is Max. It's either Jay, Abi or Lauren. But it can't be Lauren because the actress just filmed her last scenes last week. It's between Jay and Abi. Might even be a collaboration!

Pyjamaramadrama · 01/01/2015 22:52

Really liked that episode, it was totally cheesy and unrealistic but I loved it.

It was totally stupid the way that Roxy and Charlie went to the pub when Ronnie was still in the car.

I don't think it's Max, possibly Abi or Lauren, maybe Jane? I said that Denise us the only one who's gone downhill since as though she could be feeling bad, and they're making her not likeable by having her hurt Patrick and stealing, whereas she was lovely before.

I don't think it's Jay or Ben. It could still be Whitney.

IAmOnMyBike · 01/01/2015 22:54

The actress playing Lauren is going on maternity leave. I think it will be her.

I haven't been following EE lately. Is the lady from Father Ted, in Dot's living room, Nicks wife?

Kittymautz · 01/01/2015 22:54

Of course 'they' know who the killer is. Long-term storylines are planned months in advance. But I'm sure that the killer's identity is only on a need to know basis within the Eastenders cast and crew.

Fakebook · 01/01/2015 22:54

Re: the killer
The producers chose a killer right at the start, then had a meeting and changed it. So they know who the killer is and they are adamant they haven't and won't change the killer again.

306235388 · 01/01/2015 22:55

Surely if Emma dies there will be an investigation and one witness at least will say she was being weird with her phone and wanting to go to the police??

Rivercam · 01/01/2015 22:55

I think when Lucy was killed, they Said only two or three people knew the identity of the killer in real life, so peopke do know. The actor who plays the killer is going to get a shock when he/she finds out if they didn't know they were leaving the soap.

I guessing iptsnot someone we know has left the series, even temporarily, such as Max ( strictly) or Lauren ( pregnant), as that's too obvious ( actually, did Max film ee As well as doing Strictly.)

Pyjamaramadrama · 01/01/2015 22:57

What I really hope is that when we do find out, it's not just some complete randomer. With none of the clues they've been giving meaning anything. I want it to all suddenly add up. But then I keep having to remind myself that it's Eastenders not a crime drama.

Fakebook · 01/01/2015 22:57

Rivercam, yes he did. Apparently EE set was down the road from strictly so he was able to do both.

EdSheeransGString · 01/01/2015 23:01

I still think it was abi who killed her.

Jay and Ben helped move the body and cover it up and I think cindy knows something too.

I loved tonight's episode.

CrapBag · 01/01/2015 23:05

I reckon it was Abi and somehow Jay and Ben are involved and have helped cover up for her.

Cakeismymaster · 01/01/2015 23:12

I thought it may be jane, there was a story about bookmakers not taking any more bets on it being her as so much money had been put on her (looking like a leak from inside info)

RedTinsel · 01/01/2015 23:16

Ah but if Emma dies it will be because of the accident rather than foul play so there'd be no need to investigate what she was doing that day. Or look at her phone.
